"Fuck, yeah," he groaned, his breathing picking up.

I would have been surprised if he'd said no. I leaned forward, getting as close as I could to his ear. "How about a tongue?" I sank my teeth into his shoulder.

"Jesus, Emerson," he rasped in a gravelly tone, shuddering wildly.

I smiled. "I wonder if I can give you an orgasm without even touching your cock." What I was doing to Ace turned me on, too. I reached down and parted my pussy lips, discovering how slick I was. I began to touch my clit, my other hand reaching around and grasping his hard cock. "If you won't give me an orgasm, I can make myself come."

That did it. With an animalistic sound, Ace swung around and pushed me against the wall. His eyes were fierce, his expression raw with arousal. He moved in, grabbed my leg, and hoisted it up over his hip and entered me at the same time.

"You should never push my buttons, baby girl," he grated down into my face. "It's dangerous." He pounded into me.

"I'm not afraid of you, biker man."

"You should be," he snarled. "You don't know what I'm capable of, Emerson. I don't want to hurt you, but there are some things even I can't control."

Interesting. I wasn't sure what Ace meant by that, but I still wasn't frightened of him. Sure, he was fucking me like a savage warrior, taking what he wanted, and right now he didn't care about anyone but himself, but I knew before it was over that he would take care of me, too. He wasn't a selfish lover.

Every slam of his cock forced a grunt from me, and no matter how rough he was, I derived pleasure from the pain. I raked my nails down his back, feeling his skin tear beneath my nails, feeling his muscles flex. His groans urged me to own him in the most wild and basic way. When he was inside me I clamped my muscles down on him, relishing in his hiss.

"Reach down and play with your clit," he grated between his teeth, pounding so hard that the sound of his balls slapping against me echoed in the shower. "This isn’t going to take long."

I did as Ace demanded, reaching a climax in record time. As I convulsed helplessly against him, he slammed his mouth down on mine and thrust one last time, filling me with his cum. He grunted and shuddered against me, and then ripped his mouth from mine to suck in hard breaths.

"What was that you said about being worth the wait?" I asked when I could breathe again.

His cock slipped out of me and Ace lowered my leg. He shook his head slowly as he stared down at me. "I don't know if I fucking like how you twist me up inside. Don't know if it's a good thing, or a bad thing. I like my life the way it is, but I want you in it, too."

"Well, if it helps, I want you in my life, too."

"Good to know," he said. "Now go get dressed so we can get out of here."

Chapter 31

Emerson

A week later the girls were home, I was back at my apartment, and After Hours had re-opened for business. Apparently the other MC that had been causing all the trouble had left town, and now things were back to normal.

I'd had mixed feelings about leaving Ace's home, mainly because it had been my idea and he hadn't fought it. But I hadn't wanted him to think that I was rushing things between us, and I didn't want to put him into the uncomfortable position of having to suggest that it was time for me to go home. That would have been awkward for both of us.

If he’d wanted me to stay he would have voiced it, which told me that he wasn't ready for me to move in with him, either. I didn't know what the future looked like for us. Ace didn't strike me as the dating kind. I knew that I would see him in the mornings when I was scheduled for work, but I doubted that Tanner would appreciate us fraternizing during that time.

I decided not to take anything for granted. We were together, but I wasn't going to wait by the phone for Ace to call. Unless we had plans I could make my own, and I hadn't hesitated to accept Della's invitation to join her and the rest of the girls for a girls' night out. Apparently they needed a break after being on lockdown with small children for a week.

Right now I was at the grocery store picking up some things for the cookout that was planned at Ruby's that Saturday. I'd been informed that the men were in charge of the meat, and the women took care of the sides. I'd volunteered to make macaroni salad, and was reaching for a red bell pepper when I felt a presence move next to me. I automatically looked up, a ready smile spreading across my face as I peered into clear, blue eyes.

"Doyle!"

"Hey, girl."

We exchanged friendly hugs. "What are you doing here?" I took in his casual attire. He was definitely not working that day.

"What, you think the food fairy keeps my fridge stocked?" he joked, and then he leaned in and murmured out of the corner of his mouth, "I have to clean and vacuum once in a while, too."

We both laughed. "Life is so unfair, isn't it?" I began to look around the produce section. "Hey, is Sonnie around? I'd like to meet her."

He shook his head. "No, she's at work. The only day off we have together is Sunday." The disappointment in his tone was obvious.

"How are you two getting along?"
