No, he goes all in. His mouth crashes into mine again as his delicious weight settles against my pelvis. I spread my legs wider so there’s room for his big frame to fit.

I’m not a virgin. I’m not exactly a woman of wordly skill either. But there is no doubt that I’ve grabbed the tiger by the tail.

I have no clue what to do with him now.

Fool.

My nerves flutter, and I get a weird feeling in my belly. An alarm bell starts to sound loudly inside my head.

Beast is the kind of man that’s going to expect a woman to know what to do?—

My hands suddenly feel clammy, and my heart rate speeds from overdrive to breakneck.

His body goes stiff above me. He braces his elbows on either side of my head. His thumb brushes gently over my temple. “Do you want to stop?”

I realize that his heart is pounding against mine where our chests are pressed together and that makes my decision easier.

“No!”

“Babe, if your pulse goes any faster, you’re going to rocket into space.”

“I just had some thoughts that made me get a little anxious.”

He looks down at me with warmth in his eyes before he leans in and brushes his nose along my cheek. “Are you sure you’re not afraid of me?”

“I’m not.”

It’s the truth.

“What, then?” he whispers roughly against my ear.

“I’m just nervous. I’ve never been with a man like you.”

He levers up so he’s on one elbow and he cups my cheek with his free hand. We’re still fused together from our belly buttons down. All the teasing and heat is gone from his expression and now he looks very concerned. “What’s that mean?”

“It means…” I swallow. My throat rivals Death Valley right now. “I’m just not very… fancy in bed.”

He looks at me for a beat, then his worried scowl turns soft. His eyes get this light in them I’ve never seen, turning them to a warm, chestnut brown. Then he smiles.

My heart kicks.

His smile isn’t a big cocky smile. This is a small pleased one. “I don’t want fancy. I want you. Just like you are. Real. No pretense.”

I take in his rugged face. His beefy shoulders. The scars that mar him here and there.

There’s nothing fancy about this man. And I love that too.

“That’s good, because I want you just like you are.”

He traces the curl of my ear with his fingertip, letting his gaze follow the motion. “Not a fancy bone in my body.” He slides his gaze back to mine and looks at me with a blazing force that makes my lips part.

His hand slides into my hair, gently grazing his long fingers against my scalp. “But I can fuck you till you scream your orgasm and do it again right after.”

This time, my heart does a somersault. That’s not all that goes wild inside of me. I may never think right again.

I press my lips flat to hide my reaction, but I know my eyes are far too wide.

He throws his head back. The laugh he lets out is the sexiest thing I’ve ever heard. After he’s finished, he smiles down at me, then sweeps my lips with his. It’s a slow brush, full of restraint.
