LAW:Colt and Dax owe 500. You totally got laid. Pay up.
DAX:I’ve got to get to my forever, if you don’t mind.
HAYDEN:Tell her I said hi!
COLT:Did you get her a present for being a moron?
TONY:A rather LARGE one...
ROBBIE:200 it’s a ring.
TONY:Lose. Not a ring.
ROBBIE:A blowie from an opossum?
I’m clutching the tiny purple paper as I bolt out the side door of the hotel and she’s up against the brick wall where I first kissed her in a desperate groping explosion. In her boot, is the love of my life.
She smirks. “Read it to me.”
“What?” My smile is huge as I look at this gorgeous woman.
“All the notes, messages, texts, books, everything you ever want to say, I want to hear it. But right now, read my note.”
I dutifully read. “You’re always the first and last thing on my mind. I’ll be waiting on Tuesday to start our life.”
“I love you,” she blurts out.
“I love you too, so fucking much. And I love Tuesday. My new favorite day.” Hitching her around my waist, I slam my lips to hers. I carry her into the hotel while her boot jabs into my ass.
“Presidential suite.”
I smirk but walk out the front door. She kisses my neck and as we exit a man opens a limo. I place her down and she looks confused.
Monica lifts an eyebrow and slides into the car. I lean in and hand her papers. “Sign here.”
“Saint Monica?” she asks.
“Small island near Nevis. Buying an island is surprisingly easy,” I say.
She squeals and signs her name. “Can I make the rules up on this island?”
“It’s yours. You’re the dictator-queen.” She bites her lip.
“No pants.”
“Ever?” I ask, leaning into the doorframe of the car. “Done.” I kiss her quickly.
“You bought me an island.”
“You stayed still.”
“I should have told you, believed in you. In us. I love you,” she says as I get in.
“I’ve heard. It’s also St. Monica’s motto.” I hand her a flag, a plaque and a map. She grins and I say, “I’m sorry I’ve been too busy writing things down instead of living them.”
She hands me a pen, “Don’t stop on my account.” I scribble on the top of the map.
