“You knucklehead, you don’t propose like that!” Pops yelled from the end of the table.

“Say yeah,” Ice exclaimed and pulled a box from his pocket. He opened it, and inside was a beautiful emerald-cut diamond ring.

I looked at it and then at Ice.

“Say something!” Ice urged, starting to look worried.

“Yes!” I squeaked, and Ice shoved the ring on my finger and dragged me into a kiss.

“Fuck me, that was a shit proposal. Mine will be better!” Harley announced, and his girl squealed and smacked him hard before disappearing. “She can run, but I’ve got her in my sights.”

“I hope she makes your life hell!” Ice said, breaking our kiss and rolling his eyes at me.

Harley snorted. “She already is.”

“Good!” we all shouted at Harley, who laughed and slapped Ice on his good shoulder. He dropped a kiss on my head. “Welcome to the family.”

Moments later, he disappeared in search of his girl.

“You ready to put up with this insanity?” Ice asked as everyone crowded around us.

“It’s a life sentence,” I replied, laughing.

“You had your chance to run. You’re stuck with us now,” Ice said as he climbed to his feet, hauled me into his arms, and kissed me again.

“Somehow, I’m okay with that!” I announced and laughed as Pops swept me out of Ice’s embrace.

“Fuckin’ idiot, that was a shit proposal considering how you romanced my grandbaby,” Pops snapped.

“Dude, I got yours and her uncle’s permission, I wasn’t hanging about,” Ice retorted.

Spike smirked evilly. “Welcome to the family, boy!”

I giggled at the worried expression that crossed Ice’s face, and I leaned forward. “You had your chance to run. You’re stuck with us now,” I parroted back at him.

Ice grinned. “Somehow, I’m okay with that.”

I guessed we both were. A Michaelson with a Moore. Who’d have thought it? Not me, that was for sure. Dreams did come true. The inbred child had found love despite the odds. Go me!

Istared at the report that Leila had given me. “How old is this?”

“The intel came in three hours ago. I checked it, boss.”

“Fuck! I’ll get Dana to call the allies. RCPD got this info?”

“No. It is new information. I’ve triple-checked it, and it’s correct,” Leila replied.

“Thanks. Start making calls,” I ordered and walked away.

I entered my office and sat down heavily. Seems even fuckin’ Fury had celebrated Christmas, and now that was over, he was moving.

The report in front of me said that four MCs that were being watched had vanished. Somehow, with eyes on them, they’d fucking up and gone. How the hell had that happened? I didn’t know. I’d have Leila dig into them later. But I needed to get alerts out to everyone.

If these clubs had disappeared, then Fury was making his move. Because these were four of the worst allied to Fury. I slammed the file down on my desk that Leila gave me.
