Both of them were surrounded by a purple glow of magic until they were completely wrapped in a cocoon of light. Acute satisfaction surged through him as the bond between them snapped into place. His mind and spirit connected to hers, and he felt her pleasure merge with his own. The intensity of their shared emotions was so overwhelming that it triggered another climax before the first had ended.

She screamed with pleasure as she came again, then she bit down on that spot at the base of his neck that she seemed to love so much. He roared her name as he jerked against her, filling her with pulse after pulse of his hot, thick cream. As the waves of pleasure swept through them, he wrapped his arms around her, holding her close.

They were mated, but he had to find her in the physical world to make sure their bond was complete.

“This has to be the strangest mating in history,” she muttered against his neck. “Seriously, who the fuck bonds in a dream?”

“We will have a good story to tell our younglings when the time comes.”

She wheezed out a laugh, and he immediately rolled to the side to take some of his weight off of her. He was surprised when she murmured in protest.

“I like feeling you on me.”

“I’m twice your size. I could crush you.”

“Not in the dream world.” She paused before adding, “Are we always going to dream together?”

“I hope so,” he admitted. “I like sharing this space with you. Though, I am looking forward to being with you in the physical world as well.”

“And when is that going to happen?”

“Soon,” he promised. “I am on my way to you now.”

Surprised, she sat up and gaped down at him. “Really?”

“Really. Did you honestly think I would not come to you the very moment I knew you were mine?”

“I…don’t know,” she said honestly. “I mean, I thought you were an alcohol-induced fantasy before. Now, I know you’re real, but it still feels a little strange. A small part of me is worried I’m going to wake up and never see you again.”

He sat up and stroked her hair back before pulling her close and kissing her on the forehead.

“I will find you soon. I swear it.”

She lifted a strand of his hair and twirled it around hers. “You said you’re on your way to Evo now?”

“I am, and I’m not alone. In fact, I am bringing most of Exodus with me. Enough that they decided to shut down the sanctuary businesses until they get back.”

“What?” She laughed, then her eyes went wide with shock when she realized he wasn’t joking. “Seriously?”

He nodded. “My sister, Alestra, her mate, Jais, and my nephew, Jyn, are on my vessel, along with Emma and Trip Rage. Then, there are close to a dozen other people on Jade, Rogan, and Lucian’s vessel.”

She laughed. “Holy nova, you weren’t kidding. You really are bringing most of Exodus with you.”

“I will be with you soon.” Cupping her face, he lightly brushed his lips against hers. “And once I find you, I will never let you go.”

Chapter Nine

“Okay, spill it.”

Charm glanced up and blinked in surprise when she saw Gia and Juliet sitting on the other side of her desk. She hadn’t even realized they had entered her office and had no idea how long they had been sitting there staring at her.

She smiled innocently. “Spill what?”

Gia pointed at her. “You’ve been acting weird for days, and now you are sitting here staring off into space. Something is going on with you. And it’s not just the new hairdo.”

Charm reached up and touched her new shoulder-length locks. The shorter length allowed her natural waves to show more, and she had dyed it a vibrant purple in honor of her new mate. She loved the edgy new look, and she had received a ton of compliments on her new makeover.

“Is it a guy?” Juliet gasped. “It’s a guy!”
