Braax roared behind her, pulling out and coating her ass and legs with another round of seed. The sticky warmth dripped down her bare skin and she relished in the sensation of being claimed, marked.

Holy fuck.

With a groan, she fell onto her side, desperately trying to get her protective cloud back in place, to compose herself after the thrashing that had just occurred. She wiped tears from her eyes and glanced at Braax, surprised by the horrified look on his face.

“Are you alright?” he asked, eyes darting over her bare body, the seed between her legs, the scratch marks at her waist, the dirt all over her breasts and tear-stained cheeks.

She heaved a great sigh, trying to catch her breath.

“I’m fine, are you?”

Not entirely true, as her emotions still threatened to overwhelm her, but she’d enjoyed every second of what had occurred.

“I… I don’t understand what just happened. Did I hurt you? That was what you wanted, right?”

He seemed afraid to touch her, his eyes roaming over her body as he wrung his hands in front of him. Sofia pushed herself up, taking a clawed hand in both of hers and kneeling before him.

“Yes, dear, that’s what I wanted. It’s, uh, a thing some couples like to do. We probably should have talked about it beforehand, though.”

Braax continued to look horrified and her heart ached, a desperate urge to calm him, to reassure him.

“People do that? Pretend they’re being…” he trailed off, clearly not wanting to say the word.

“Some do. Usually with more discussion, but I felt safe with you since I had my word. I’m so sorry, Braax, I hope it didn’t upset you. It’s… not for everyone, but it’s something that I enjoy.”

Now his eyes widened, though his shoulders relaxed, some of the tension easing with her words.

“You’ve done that before?”

Sofia couldn’t resist a chuckle.

“Well, notquitelike that, but yes. With a previous partner.”

She’d certainly never been chased through the woods and fucked into the dirt, though she’d let one of her ex-boyfriends sneak into her bedroom and ravage her on more than oneoccasion. It wasn’t something she usually brought up with new partners, not a kink many seemed willing to try.

“With your ex-husband?”

Braax’s face was so serious, and she tried not to laugh again.

“No. Definitely not. He wasn’t into any sort of experimenting.”

An understatement. Greyson was the blandest person she’d ever been in bed with, and for perhaps the thousandth time, she wondered why she’d even married him in the first place.

He just nodded, and she crawled into his lap, cupping his cheek in her palm. She was worried that a line had been crossed, and it turned her stomach to think she’d distressed him.

“You are a mess,” he said with a small laugh, pulling a twig out of her hair. “Are you sure I did not hurt you?”

“Yes, I’m sure. I mean, I’m a little sore, but I’m fine. I liked it.”

Braax gave her a suspicious look, as if he didn’t believe her words.

“I… liked it too.”

“I’m glad. I really didn’t want to upset you, I was just… caught up in the moment. We don’t have to do that again if you don’t want to.”

Sofia hoped he’d be willing to give it another try, the thrill of running through the forest while he chased her still sending pulses of electricity through her body, but it wasn’t worth his discomfort.

Braax nuzzled his snout into the crook of her neck.
