“Come back.” He patted his lap. “And ditch the dress.”
“Ditch your clothes too.”
He stood up and took the beers from me, setting them on the table. “You want them off. You do it.”
I shimmied my shoulders and let my dress fall to the floor in a puddle. Then I stepped closer and loosened the tie he wore, pulling him to me for a kiss.
His arms wrapped around me, and I felt his fingers unhooking my bra. I pulled back and finished unknotting his tie, then I took my time unbuttoning his shirt.
“I love your chest.” A soft moan escaped as I ran my fingers through his chest hair. His hands took over, unbuttoning his shirt.
Raising an eyebrow, He grinned and made his pecs dance. “This chest?”
I threw my head back in laughter. “Tease.”
“Me?” He acted offended. “Look at those gorgeous tits on display.”
I looked down and lifted my breasts, teasing my nipples. “These?”
“Oh yeah.” He nodded and wiggled his hips to make his pants drop to his feet.
He stepped from them, only wearing socks, and sat back in the chair. Frank flipped the pizza box open. “I need to refuel and give my dick a chance to recharge. I’m an old man, ya know?”
I laughed harder and took a seat on his lap.
He took a square slice out and held it to my lips. “Open wide, baby.”
Doing as he said, he fed me a bite and then took one himself. We ate in comfortable silence and once we’d had our fill; we moved to the bed.
Frank kept staring at me and it felt weird. “What?”
“You’re so beautiful.”
“Frank.”
“I only speak the truth.”
Thoughts speed in my head, and the one that came around a second time made me gasp. “You didn’t suit up.”
He nodded slowly. “I know.”
“But …”
“Edith, I’m clean.” He cupped my face. “And I’m sure you are too.”
“I am. But that’s not the concern. I mean … what if?”
He shrugged. “I told you. You’re mine.”
I lifted my beer, taking another swallow. “Um, Enoch said you bought a house? I’m guessing that means you’re staying.”
“Yup.” He nodded. “It’s not far from the diner or the school.”
“Now I know why I never see you at lunchtime.”
“Yeah, I help police the playground.” He smiled. “Want another?”
“Sure.” I drained my bottle and held it out to him, and he rolled off the bed to get two more.
