He pinches my clit between his thumb and forefinger, rolling it between his fingers, and I cry out. Sweat glistens on my skin and his, and our breathing is choppy. I can feel his thighs shaking, and there’s pressure building deep in my core as he continues to hit a specific spot inside of me that has my skin tingling.

“Gods, Ducky. The way ye’re squeezing me, I’m no goin’ tae last much longer. I’ll have tae build up stamina.”

“Not yet,” I pant, crying out when he hits that spot again. “Don’t stop yet, Alpha.”

He groans against my neck, his breath fanning out down my chest and sending chills across my fevered skin. My nipples tighten beneath his hold, and I try to hold myself back as long as I can. When I feel his growing knot bumping against me, I find myself pushing down against it, trying to force him inside as the need to be locked tight to him overwhelms me.

“Fuck,” he moans, pushing up against me harder and swiveling his hips until his knot pops inside of me.

When it does, I free fall over the edge into the crashing waves of ecstasy below. My orgasm is earth shattering, and when I feel him reach his own peak, thick, hot spurts of his release coating my internal walls, I lose it all over again because the knowledge that I pleasured my alpha makes something deep inside of me preen, as weird as it is.

Zeke falls back against the pillows on his side, his knot tugging against my opening and sending a tremor through me as I moan, closing my eyes. A deep sigh of satisfaction and contentmentescapes me as my alpha curls around me, his length locked deep inside of me, with no escape for the next several minutes.

“Mine,” I murmur sleepily, gripping his arm that’s wrapped around me tight and snuggling as close to him as I can get as he pulls a blanket over us.

“Yeah, Ducky. I’m yours,” he whispers reverently against the back of my neck, placing a kiss there.

As I nap, only one thought crosses my mind as I lay in my alpha’s arms.

That was the first time I should have had.

The others find us still there, wrapped around each other, hours later. None of them says a word or makes me feel embarrassed or uncomfortable. Instead, they go change and climb in with us, Micah taking up the spot in front of me and making me shiver as he presses his naked chest against mine. With a grumble from Zeke, he pulls me away from my gentle giant and into his arms, kissing the top of my head and gently running his fingers along my back until I relax against him completely.

Thirty-One

Cozette

Just before dinner, Jeremiah’s phone rings, and I notice the way his brow furrows in frustration as he looks at the caller ID.

We’re laying on the couch together in the living room while Micah and Manny cook, and Ridge and Zeke are spread out in the chairs on either side of the couch. Some tv show is on that Zeke picked, but it’s clear that none of us are giving it much attention.

“Data,” Jeremiah says in a clipped tone, his lips pressed into a thin line.

Jeremiah listens to the voice on the other end before he sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose as his eyes close and he responds with an annoyed, “I’ll be there in a few hours.”

He hangs up the phone, casually slipping it back into his pocket, and I nestle into his embrace. Extending my hand, I delicately brush my finger along the creases between his eyes until, gradually, the tension melts away, and his face softens.

“What’s wrong?” I ask him softly, feeling Zeke and Ridge’s eyes on us.

“Nothing. I just need to go meet an old friend. I owe her one,” he murmurs, pressing his forehead against mine.

My face scrunches up in a frown as I feel a tight knot form in my stomach when he casually brings up meeting another woman. My frown deepens as I realize that what bothers me more is the fact that it’s a woman, and not that it’s an old contact from his dark past.

He grins mischievously when he notices the pout on my lips, leaning forward and playfully nibbling on my bottom lip until I let out a gasp and squirm in his arms.

“You can come with me.”

“Hey, woah now. Is that really a good idea? I mean, where are you even going to meet this person?” Ridge chimes in, and when I tilt my head back to look at him, I see him sitting up straight in his seat with a scowl as he stares over at Jeremiah.

I can sense Zeke’s agreement with Ridge as I meet his worried eyes, his frown telling me everything he doesn’t say.

“She’ll be safe. I’d never let anything happen to her and everyone there will know not to fuck with her when they see she’s with me. To be honest, I’m a little offended you think I’d ever put her in danger,” Jeremiah bites out through clenched teeth, his eyes narrowed on Ridge.

Since their tussle at Mama’s, this is the first time they’ve truly clashed over anything that has to do with me. They’ve had theirfair share of petty arguments, typical of a household full of strong-willed alphas, but nothing too consequential, so the mere idea of them regressing over something as trivial as me going with Jeremiah causes my muscles to tighten.

I quickly roll off the couch, narrowly avoiding Jeremiah’s reaching hands, driven by the urgent need to defuse the tension before it escalates. Rushing over to Ridge, I immediately plop down in his lap, curling up and feeling instantly at ease. My hand gently rests on his chest, feeling the steady rise and fall as he takes a shuddering breath, and I steal a glance at him from beneath my lashes.

“I’ll be fine, Alpha. Jeremiah will take care of me, and I want to go. Please don’t fight,” I murmur, rubbing my cheek against his chest as soothing pheromones curl around us.
