They all nodded, and it was Nuke who asked, “So, how’d the two of you meet?”

Before Ophelia or I could say anything, Soraya did.

And as she told the story about how yesterday went, I felt every pair of eyes land on me.

Shock.

Awe.

And a few of them didn’t believe a word she said.

Cause never have they seen me react in such a way with anyone like I was with the two of them.

After Soraya told everyone what happened, she looked at me and said, “We made you unicorn brownies. Monnie said you might not like them, but I told her since you like the Hulk, you must have a little boy still in you somewhere’s, so you would like them.”

I lifted a brow at her and said, “Did you say unicorn brownies?”

She nodded, “Hey, don’t knock it ‘til you try it.”

At that, I started chuckling.

And a few brothers started as well.

That was why I pulled the tray over to me, removed the tin foil, and saw four brownies lying there.

“We only brought you four. If you want more, we will give them to you.” Soraya said.

I looked at Ophelia and asked, “What’s in them?”

She winked, then said, “Don’t knock it ‘til you try it.”

I growled lowly, which had both of them giggling.

The perfect sound of a song.

If I lost my hearing right then and there, I would grin and bear it because I had just heard the most beautiful sound in the world.

I picked one of the brownies that appeared to be white chocolate with pink and blue bits in them.

I sniffed it, which caused them both to giggle and then I took a small bite.

A wonderful taste, unlike anything I have ever tasted before, exploded on my tongue, and then I popped the whole thing into my mouth.

I chewed, swallowed, and grabbed another one.

And in minutes, it wasn’t until I reached for another one that I realized I had eaten them all.

Did I just fuckin’ pout?

And I realized I had when Soraya started laughing so hard she had tears streaming down her little cheeks.

Ophelia was in the same manner as her daughter.

The brothers looked at me, and it was Xander who asked, “You couldn’t fuckin’ share?”

I shook my head, “No.” then I bit out, “Watch your language.”

His eyes widened slightly, then he looked at the brothers, then looked at the little girl who was still laughing, looked at me, and jerked up his chin.
