He pulls me on top of him, his embrace possessive, “I am serious,Printsessa. I’m going to take you, cherish you, and possess you.”

There’s a loud knock on the door and I jump out of his arms, instantly missing him. He hisses, wrapping a sheet around himself to stomp to the door, opening it to Dharma.

“I’m sorry to bother you, but Mr. Sokolov is here to see you. He said you and Ms. Sokolov aren’t answering your phones. He’s in your office waiting.”

“Shit. Okay, tell him we’ll be right there.”

We dress quickly and I say with a pout, “leave it to my cousin to ruin all my fun.”

He pulls me into a hug. “All I want is to lay in bed and fuck you into oblivion, but we need to focus on catching your stalker, whether it’s Kira or someone else. Then, we’re going to live outthisfairytale.Ourfairytale.”

“Promise?”

“You have no idea.”

Niko

Sergei sits behind my desk, his scowl only wavering when he sees how well fucked his cousin looks. He stands and rounds my desk, his arms crossed, but his scowl slides into a smirk.

“So, this is why you can’t take my calls?”

Becca blushes and eyes me hesitantly, unsure how we’re going to play this. We aren’t playing period. I wrap my arm around her waist and pull her into my side.

“If by this you mean me madly in love with your cousin, yes.”

The sharp intake of her breath embraces my heart like a bear hug. I look at her flushed cheeks, swollen lips, fluttering lashes, and shimmering blue eyes. She’s never looked so beautiful.

Her whisper is only for me, “You really are the best boyfriend.”

I flash a boyish grin, “Enjoy it while it lasts, because there will be a huge diamond on your ring finger as soon as this is over.”

Her eyes widen.

“Too fast?”

“No,” She hesitates, “unless you think we should slow down.”

“As far as I’m concerned we can’t move fast enough. I’ve waited years for this. For us.”

“Wow. Okay.”

“Good, because you’re not going back to your condo. Better get use to the country.”

“I love it out here. I just didn’t want to admit it earlier.”

Sergei loudly clears his throat. “Okay, lovebirds, let’s get down to business. Ino has a lead.”

Becca asks, “Is it some Russian prick named Ivan? Kira Lebedev’s bodyguard?”

“Ivan Smirnov. Kira’s bodyguard? As in Trish and Kira? Your friend Kira?”

She snorts, “Obviously not a friend anymore.”

“Why in the fuck?”

She rolls into herself so I answer, “There’s a reason, trust us. We just need to stop her.”

Sergei examines Becca’s face before relenting. “Fine. What do you suggest?”
