Why would I still feel arousal, even now, after he’s long removed his tongue from my sensitive parts?
“Seems like she’s still riding the high.” Heath gawks at me from above like he’s admiring plundered prey.
My eyes flutter down toward the bloodied marks Silas etched into my skin, permanently reminding me of what I gave away.
“Your debt isn’t nearly paid …” Silas says as he picks up his mask from the ground and puts it back over his face. “See you Friday in the Skull & Serpent Society house. Eight o’clock. Don’t be late.”
Max
With a hard-on tenting my pants,I turn around to the other side of the tree and watch Silas and Heath walk away, leaving Ivy in the forest, completely wasted. She doesn’t move, doesn’t even say a word.
Is she …?
I swallow back the nerves and wait until they’re out of view before I step out from the woods. With a raging boner, I approach her. Her body lies limp between the leaves, like a beautiful flower whose petals are scattered on the ground, stained with a mixture of blood, spit, and cum.
I kneel in front of her, licking my lips at the sight of her body, and I lean in to listen. Short puffs of air leave her mouth. She’s alive.
I breathe a sigh of relief and pick up her phone, checking what the boys did before I tuck it back into her pocket. I softly push my hands underneath her body and pick her up from the ground. I can’t help but marvel at her pretty face, those luscious lips, that beauty mark near her eyes, and all the individual hairs on her eyebrows as I carry her with me. She looks like a doll in my arms, and I blow a bit of air into her face to see if she wakes up, but it only makes her dark-brown hair tumble to the side.
Has she fallen asleep?
I hold her close to my chest as I walk toward my motorcycle. She groans in my arms, and her eyes momentarily flutter open.
“M-Max?”
I look down and smile. “Shh … it’s okay.”
I place her down on my bike and sit down in front of the wheel while securing her arms to my body. “Can you hold on tight for me?”
She murmurs some words I can’t understand, but at least she’s semi-awake enough to stay on the bike as I drive off into the dark of the night.
Ivy
When my eyesflutter open again, the burst of sunshine radiating through the window makes me blink voraciously. I’m in a warm, soft bed that smells like … home.
I sit up straight and look around. I’m actually in my own bedroom.
And I definitely didn’t walk here by myself.
I rub my face, listening to the weird noises coming from the living room.
What the … what happened to me?
All I remember is dozing off in the forest after Silas and Heath used me, and then …
I cover my mouth with my hand.
Max.
He was there.
I can still remember his smell. The feel of his body against mine. His heartbeat was so fast as I lay against him while sitting on his bike.
I walk to the living room, where the television blasts cartoons.
“Hi, Ivy.” Cora smiles. “You’re awake!”
It’s as if I just walked into a fever dream.
