She looks around us in confusion and rubs her eyes. "We've reached Ree? Where is she? I have questions and some demands."

She shuts her eyes again, face resting on top of the chamber, and I laugh softly at her.

"No, we have not, but soon," I say as I help her down and begin to carry the rest of the things from the cart.

I place her in a corner with thecryo chamberand watch her curl up to it and go back to sleep. I am reminded once more how beautiful she is when she isn't upset with me.

No, she is beautiful then, too, though not as alluring as when I am giving her pleasure. I long to do it again, but since she hasn't brought it up, I assume she must not want to think about it again.

It makes my hearts hurt.

I leave Roshan and Darya free to graze while I hide the cart behind a thick strand of bushes.

As I move back to the rock, I feel eyes on my back.

When I turn around, I don't see anything or hear anything. Maybe it's the exhaustion and the constant sense of danger.

There's no one to trade off duties with and I miss Samke again with another sharp pang. I hope he survived.

Still, I can't shake the feeling of being watched and I decide to make myself feel better by going around to take a look. My search doesn't prove fruitful, so I lay down next to Nasrin, sharing my warmth with her. She lets out a long sigh in her sleep and moves closer to me.

I lay next to her, thinking, with one hand tight on the hilt of my knife. Should the need arise, I will be ready.

I don't sleep long before coming out of a dream of a green monster attacking, my hearts beating with my panic as I wake up. I listen closely, but can't detect anything and the argila go back to calmly napping after giving me a long look.

It must be safe, and I take long breaths, trying to calm down, but sleep feels pointless now. I decide to get up and patrol.

Moving as quietly as possible, I shift, but Nasrin stirs. She startles awake, eyes wide instantly, likely also remembering the attack that led to my own nightmare.

"There is no danger," I assure her, clicking to help calm her.

She pulls me close and I rub my arm up and down her back until she stops shaking. "I am going to patrol, then clean up."

She clears her throat, with sleep heavy in her voice as she speaks. "It's cold for a stream bath, but I'd like that too."

"Wait here for now, I'll be back," I tell her as I shift to standing.

It doesn't take me long to check our surroundings. Everything is peaceful., The argila hum softly while they cuddle up together. For a moment, they stir, then settle back into their dozing.

I take the time to remove my armor, propping it next to the green-haired female's chamber.

"Come, Nasrin."

I hold a hand out to her, pleased when she takes it, and lead her to the stream. When we get to the water, it strikes me just how used to bathing in it I have become, remembering the sand scrubbings I used to give myself in the past. We always had plenty of water, but not enough to waste on daily bathing.

But Nasrin's hands on my back pull me from my thoughts. Her fingers trail along my muscles, reaching around to the tie at my waist as she moves in front of me.

May I?" she asks, her breath coming even faster now.

I'm thankful I left my armor with the argila, my member already swelling in anticipation. "Yes," I grit out.

Then I moan as her nimble fingers undo the knot, brushing lightly against my already engorged flesh, hissing as the material runs down it and pools at my feet. Her hands are around me next as her black suit fades, revealing her lovely brown skin.

She moves closer to me, still holding me tight and placing my length between her breasts, her wide, black eyes staring up atme. I groan, and then move a hand to each of them, lifting their fullness and then pushing them together so their soft warmth surrounds me.
