The weeks following the battle at the hotel were very hectic. We never did find the Society member who got away. They have been suspiciously quiet since everything happened. It’s kind of a relief but we are all just waiting for the next tragedy.
I haven’t seen Jessa and she hasn’t been at work. Grams won’t tell me anything, and Emmett hasn’t seen or heard from her either. Joaquin and Laken are acting like everyone is their enemy and both of them look sick as hell.
My dad has been seeing Brigid for the last week. It took the first couple of weeks he was home just to get him totally back on his feet again. With a lot of Grams’ cooking and some physical therapy we had him up on day thirteen. My mother is looking a little better day by day too. My father and I are hoping that maybe she’ll pull out of the regression she went through due to the grief.
The guys and I have been looking for a bigger place. My apartment above the shop isn’t big enough for the three of us. Emmett and Josiah are going to move into it instead and Josiah is giving up his rental.
I’m meeting the guys right now to look at a prefab that we’re going to put out on the land while we build our dream house. It’s weird having two men at my beck and call, though I’m pretty much at theirs too.
I pull up to the lot and find my guys standing next to their bikes, helmets on the seats chatting away. They are obviously excited and keep pointing to one of the homes. It’s actually bigger than I thought it would be.

“There’s our girl. I’ve missed you, Little Witch.”
“Ethan, you’ve been at the Clubhouse for three whole hours,” I say with a laugh.
“Yes but it feels like forever when you’re at the shop.” He pretends to pout and we all laugh again.
Kadi takes my other hand and we walk across the parking lot to meet with the agent to start our new life together.
