He settles in; I encircle his waist with my legs and tighten my grip. He aligns his hardness with my entrance, and I suck in a breath as he pushes his hips forward excruciatingly slowly until he fills me completely.
“Ah, fuck,” he bites out through clenched teeth. “You feel perfect.”
“Don’t stop,” I plead, my voice desperate and shaky.
And he doesn’t. He moves in a slow, agonizing rhythm, and I wouldn’t have my first time with him any other way. His sensual kisses match his steady rhythm. His hands find mine and our fingers tangle together. He slides my hands up the bed until they’re on either side of my head.
Our skins are damp, and our bodies glide up and down each other. The sensation within me intensifies with each movement, and as he quickens his rhythm, it sends me into a frenzy, bringing me closer to the edge. My lungs burn with sharp breaths. It’s all too much as the assault of pleasure and my intense feelings for him recklessly combine like fuel and fire.
My head thrashes from side to side as the pleasure builds even more, and when his lips meet my neck again, my insides lock onto him. I shatter into a million pieces as wave after wave of overwhelming bliss laps over me. His body hardens, and with each thrust he pushes harder and deeper, and then he falls over the edge with me.
I’m floating, and as I close my eyes and embrace the surreal moment, he collapses onto me, his chest rising and falling with his heavy breaths. I run my fingertips down his back, and he shudders under my touch. He lifts himself with a wolfish grin, some of his tousled hair falling into his face. My hand travels from his back to his chest, and I outline his muscles with my fingertips. I could do it again.
He smiles. “I’ve created a monster.”
I grin wickedly. “Yes, you have, because now I know what I’ve been missing.”
CHAPTER
TWENTY-ONE
MIA
I can’t wipethe smile from my face. My mind drifts off throughout the day, thinking about what happened with Ashton. His passionate kisses, his possessive touches, and the longing in his eyes make me want to repeat last night all over again, so when he tells me we’re all meeting up at the café after school, I groan loudly. I’m not interested in hanging out with everyone. I want to be alone with him.
I cross my arms over my chest as I evil-eye Ashton beside me, clearly not happy with his decision. He chuckles in response, and my attention goes to Ruby, who’s talking to me.
“Can you play a song for me on the piano next?” As I open my mouth to answer, she keeps going. “I was stressing out that you wouldn’t be able to do it, but when you called and told me... I’m just so happy for you.”
“Yes, I can play a song for you.” Then I look up at Ashton, who’s glancing at us, amused.
Ruby claps with glee, while Jackson scrunches up his face and looks at her like she’s weird. She rolls her eyes but still has the biggest smile on her face. “How’s your mom?” she asks.
“She looks a lot better. She’s more understanding than I thought she would be, seems to have a plan in place, and is determined to keep doing well.”
Roman’s blue eyes sparkle. “I’m glad your mom’s getting the help she needs.”
“How long will Levi be?” Jackson asks. He’s leaning back in his chair, looking bored at our conversation.
The door chimes, and the man himself struts in with the cockiest smile and each arm around a girl, with another two walking behind him. I chuckle.
My face drops the moment I catch sight of Maree walking behind Levi to join us. As they get closer, I stand and step in front of Ashton. A grin spreads across his face. He grabs my waist, pulls me down, and nuzzles his face into the crook of my neck. I giggle as my skin breaks out in goose bumps.
“Hmm... possessive.” Ashton’s voice is husky and hot as hell.
I’m reminded we’re not alone when I hear, “Is this a live show?”
I snort at Levi. “Keep dreaming.”
When I look around, I see a mix of amused faces, but Maree’s lips are in a straight line. As soon as she sees me looking at her, she smiles.
“Maybe I’ll see it when we’re all living together,” says Levi.
Ashton’s jaw ticks, his death stare aimed straight at Levi.
With his hands up in surrender, Levi chuckles. “I’m just joking, man. Chill out.” He pulls two of the girls onto his lap. They both squeal, making me cringe internally.
Ruby stands up and leaps into the seat I was sitting in. I give Ruby a brief nod in appreciation. The more distance from Maree, the better.
