I climaxed with the memory of her convulsing pussy around my cock, shouting her name. If I’d thought the last night sex was going to help me get her out of my system, I’d been seriously wrong.

Half an hour later, I was fully dressed and on my way to Chloe’s place to pick her up before we headed to the airport. I hummed along with the melody that was playing on the radio, in a good mood despite spending the sleepless night. I couldn’t complain, though, since sex with Chloe was totally worth it.

She was already waiting for me in front of her building when I arrived.

“Good morning,” she said with a smile on her face when I approached her to help her with her suitcase. “I hope I didn’t overpack.”

Barely registering her words, I let my eyes roam over her body, and my dick twitched in my pants. She was wearing a short red coat, tight black jeans, and black boots, which looked amazing on her. I tore my gaze from her to her suitcase with difficulty, noticing the big difference in its size compared to mine.

“Not at all. I’ve seen women pack a lot more for only a couple of days—my mother being one of them.”

I leaned in and brushed my lips against her, unable to resist myself. I felt her shudder right before she opened her mouth to allow my tongue entrance, and my body responded right away. I wrapped my arms around her and continued kissing her, deepening our kiss.

“You taste so sweet,” I told her when I separated from her to take her suitcase, wondering how her pussy tasted like. “Come on. Let’s get rolling.”

Our trip to the airport seemed much longer than it actually was, since the car was thick with sexual tension, and I could barely keep my thoughts away from the fact that she was too close to me and wanted me as much as I wanted her. We were both hyperaware of our nearness, barely talking as our reason gave way to lust.

I occupied my mind with the future plans and projects—with anything that could help me stop thinking about a raging hard-on in my pants, which wouldn’t go away until I buried myself deep into her. It didn’t matter anymore that she was my employee. We had crossed that line last night, and I didn’t feel even a particle of remorse. All my reason had gone out of the window, and all that was left was this increasing hunger.

Soon, I noticed the change in Chloe’s behavior, especially when it was time for us to get on the plane. She became jittery and much more silent than during our car drive, her face ashen.

“Are you okay?” I asked her when we took our seats. She nodded, not even looking at me as she fidgeted with her fingers. I spotted a few droplets of sweat on her temple. “Are you hot?”

“No,” she mumbled, her eyes downcast, and took a deep breath.

And then it came to me. She was afraid to fly.

I covered her hand with mine and offered her a smile. “It’s going to be okay, Chloe. I’m here, so I want you to know that you can rely on me for anything you need.”

She snapped her eyes up to look at me, her cheeks pink. “Am I that obvious?”

I nodded, chuckling. “Well, you can’t quite hide something like that. Why didn’t you tell me you’re afraid to fly?”

She glanced away, pink on her cheeks ebbing into dark red. “I didn’t want to bother you. After all, as your assistant I’m supposed to make things easier for you, not make them worse.”

I couldn’t respond to her right away, shocked at how sweet and innocent she was. She was so cute as she leaned toward me and rested her head against my shoulder, letting me comfort her.

“Thank you, Bryce. This means a lot to me,” she said barely audibly, and my heart contracted with an unknown emotion, my arm wrapping around her waist to keep her closer to me.

“Is there any particular reason for your fear?”

“No. It’s not like something happened to me and now I’m afraid. It’s just that I don’t like heights, and being closed in one big can with no ways of escaping isn’t very comforting.”

My smile transformed into laughter. “Well, if you put it that way... It does sound a bit scary, but there is nothing you should worry about when I’m here.”

“Right. Because if we start falling down, you’ll turn into Superman and prevent this plane from crashing.”

“Exactly. How did you know? I’m even wearing my superhero suit beneath this suit.”

She breathed deeply and laughed, which put me at ease. She was already looking a bit better.

As her boss I wasn’t supposed to care or go out of my way to make her feel comfortable and safe, but now that I finally saw a glimpse of real her—the real Chloe behind the strong, self-sufficient woman she presented to the world—I had an urge to treat her as a princess. Instead of letting her take care of all my needs, I wanted to be the one to take care of her needs.

Now that I thought about it, I realized that not even once I considered how bad she could feel because we were crossing the professional line between us. I knew she valued her career more than anything, so doing something like this to her—something that could put her career at risk—was selfish. Was I corrupting her?

I engaged her into a continuous conversation during our flight, helping her keep her mind off her fear, which not only worked very well, but also made time pass quickly. I enjoyed talking with her, and I managed to learn more about her interests and hobbies.

Our flight landed safely in Colorado, and she relaxed visibly, thanking me time and again for helping her with her fear. We got into a private car I had rented last night and headed to the hotel.
