I was already typing away on my phone. I searched snacks, foods that boosted productivity, or even ones that would help relax someone if they were having a late-night snack.

He opened my messenger bag and tucked away my phone. “You need to be aware of your surroundings. Your face aimed down at the screen ain’t it, Chaos.”
I blew out a breath. “We’re just going down to the parking garage, and you’re right there.”
“Start learning now, and maybe it’ll dent that beautiful head of yours someday.”
