Her shirt was lifted over her head, he went after her pants, yanking them down, nudging her toward the bed and spreading her wide. Two could play at this.

He attacked her with as much gusto as she had him, her head back on the mattress, her fingers in his hair holding him in place.

He found her bud and pulled it into his mouth and started to suck like she had him.

Two fingers found their way in her, he curved them at the end, her hips bucking up, his name shouted from her lips.

He held her there, not letting up until he knew she was done and to him that meant not moving on the bed.

He sat back a minute later and looked at her, the smile was there, her eyes all soft and dewy, but he wasn’t done.

He grabbed a condom out of the bedside drawer, slipped it on and lifted her hips up, entering her swiftly.

“Oh,” she said, arching into him. “This is so much better.”

He found her hands and put them over her head, their fingers interlacing together.

When he looked in her eyes he saw something he wasn’t sure he’d ever seen before on another woman he’d slept with. There was caring there. Tenderness. A need for more.

Or maybe he saw what he was feeling and hoping for more than anything.

Their frantic pace slowed down considerably, their hips lifting and retreating to a beat and a song that they both seemed to hear through the silence in the room.

His mouth found hers and the kiss they shared was hot and sexy with a touch of desperation and need.

Her legs came up around his back and he found a rhythm and pace that worked for them both. A slow climb but a fast tumble down was what he was aiming for.

When her fingers started to tighten around his, he knew she was close and moved his head back to look into her eyes.

He saw more than he had before but was missing something else too.

Her eyes shut and he could feel her start to pulse around him, sending him over with her, until he was falling on her chest.

After a minute he rolled and put her on top of him. “Wow. So, what was this all about?” he asked.

“I told you. I was horny.” She moved away from him and started to get her clothes off the floor.

He didn’t believe that though. “Really? Why do I think you’re not being completely honest with me?”

She stopped and looked at him, held his stare, then said, “Go get cleaned up. When you’re dressed we can talk.”

He wasn’t sure if that was good or bad, but since they’d just experienced what they had he wasn’t worried that she was going to end things with him.

He came out of the bathroom and picked up his clothes to get dressed and grabbed a fresh shirt. “Start talking,” he said.

She’d opened the door and let Sammie in who was dancing around the room and then ran out. “She doesn’t really want to be in here with us but doesn’t like to be shut out.”

“No,” he said. “She has to know what is going on at all times. About today?” he asked again.

“I’m feeling a little down, you could say.”

“About what?”

“The person I had in my chair earlier was talking about her life. She’s moved around a lot and wanted to know more about this city.”

“Okay,” he said, not understanding that much. But he tended to be slow at times and his brain cells were still on what they’d done in his bedroom.

“She said her life was busy and she wanted something slower but was pretty much alone except for one friend that found the job for her.”
