"Everything's great. You sucking my cock feels fucking incredible."
"So, why are you still limp as a wet noodle?"
"It's no biggie. I find cola does that to me. Especially when I've had too much alcohol with it."
"Soda makes you not get hard?" My eyebrows scrunch in total confusion.
"Not soda, coke."
"Coke is soda," I state. I'm missing something.
"You're cute, you know that?" he says, bopping my nose like I'm a child. "Cocaine, Andrea. I ran into an old buddy of mine when I was getting us drinks. He gave me a bump to make it through the night."
"Seriously?" I raise my voice, hopping off the bed. "I don't think I can do this."
"It's no big deal. The effects should wear off soon, especially if you keep sucking my cock. Then we will be riding the train together to pound town."
Jumping from the bed, I throw my dress back over my head and politely hand Lucky his clothes. "I think you should leave."
"I can't believe a little bit of cocaine is a deal breaker for you. Is it because I didn't share? My buddy gave me some extra. I planned on saving it for the morning, but I'll gladly share it with you."
"Oh, that sounds like a blast. A chance to be awake all night with a giant limp dick who just called having sex 'going to pound town’. I'll pass."
"Guess my buddies were right. You boomer chicks are a real letdown."
I raise my hand to smack his face, but I stop mid-way. I'm alone in my R.V. with some coked-out stranger. If I piss him off too much, who knows where I'll end up?
How did I wind up here?
Tears burn my eyes. "Get out. Just get the fuck out."
"What a waste of my fucking time." Lucky throws the door open upon his exit, leaving it swinging in the wind.
Composing myself first, I reach out to close the door behind him, scanning the campsite to see if anyone saw or heard the commotion from my R.V. Not fifty feet off in the distance stands Daniel, two beers in his hands, watching everything.
Fuck! What is he doing here?
If I pretend I didn't see him, he was never there, right?
Right.
I close the door, checking each lock carefully. I shut off the lights, crawl under the covers and search for my escape route.
Grabbing my phone, I search for the best relaxation resorts near me. First to pop up is the Clear Moon Resort in Big Sky, Montana. I scroll through the pictures on the website, and this place is gorgeous. It has meditation, hot yoga, massages, and a relaxation spa—everything I need.
Book, booking, andbooked.
Bright and early tomorrow morning, I start my adventure to find myself. No more of Daniel’s dark clouds or this one-night stand drama.
It's time to find my ray of goddamned sunshine.
Chapter Thirteen
Rome
I drop the beers as my fists clench and anger rages through my body. What the fuck did that Lucky kid do to Andrea to have her so upset? Following him through the campground, it takes me a minute to catch the head start he has on me.
As I grab Lucky's shoulder to get his attention, he says, "I knew you'd change your mind."
