Joon stilled inside me for a brief moment as he came long and deep. A restrained growl pushed its way out of his throat, as he rolled his hips forward, milking his orgasm and running his hands up and down my back softly. I could feel his cum leaking out around his cock, and I hummed at the sensation.

Joon slipped out of my sore entrance, and slumped next to me, pulling my wrecked body into his strong arms. I was dizzy and tired and filled with an electric energy.

He let out a soft moan as I lazily brushed my fingers down the side of his arm, trailing over his deep scars. He cupped my face and kissed me slowly, letting me savor his lips.

"Do you two want me to leave?" Lex mumbled weakly, his body still motionless next to the fire.

I startled and let out a short, distressed whine. Joon chuckled. The ass. I curled hard into the Alpha's side, horrified the siren saw us mating.

"Lex," I squeaked softly into my hands. "I'm so sorry."

"I'm not." Joon gave a contented hum. "I haven't felt this good in a very long time."

"Yeah?" Lex asked, "Does someone want to fuck me? Cuz I feel like complete shit at the moment."

Joon let out a bark of a laugh, and I smacked his chest. Grabbing my shirt, I moved over to Lex, trying to look the siren in the eyes.

"I don't think I'm your type," I said, pulling on my clothes and looking over his fragile form. His features were a little more defined, and his eyes were no longer a milky white but were filled with wide, black pupils.

"But Joon is." He gave a very weak smirk. "I'd wink, but it might kill me."

"I haven't come this far just to end up skinned and eaten alive by a half-dead siren," the Alpha's voice boomed, strong and loud.

"You're so mean," Lex huffed. "I just need a quick bite."

"I think I'd rather take my chances in the rain," Joon smiled.

The Border

Lex

After spendinga few days in the cave, I was finally feeling back to normal. But I was sick of watching the two wolves exchange knowing glances and intimate whispers. I was desperate to return to the searing pain the clouds provided just to get away from them.

After finding them going at it in the Inn, I had been worried that Joon would get all possessive and Alpha on Tzidal’s ass, but I was pleased to find that the pair acted somewhat normal as we made our way through the barren lands. However, now that we were stuck in a cave with nothing else to distract them, their behavior was worse than I could have ever imagined.

They were giggly.

Well, maybe they weren’t actually giggling, but they were pretty damn close.

They were all doe-eyed and with soft emotions that caught in my nose and made me want to sneeze. Their fingers brushed together as they did the simplest tasks, and they spoke softer than needed, forcing the other to lean in to hear them.

It was disgusting.

I was prepared to sacrifice myself to the onslaught of the poison downpour when Joon finally announced it was time we moved on.

The intricate pattern that usually adorned my robes could be seen in faint traces over my skin, and I was almost back to full strength, finally able to project the young man Tzidal had grown accustomed to. She liked his face for some reason. I never understood woodland creatures and their ridiculous comfort in the mundane.

I wasn’t looking forward to having my body dominated and stripped down by the rain, but there was no putting it off. Instead, I just tried looking forward to a strong Alpha or powerful elf I’d find to dominate me properly once we were out of this hell. How I longed for the feel of a sex-crazed monster to feed my soul and fill my belly.

We stepped out into the violent storm, and almost immediately, my skin shriveled at the intense, piercing pain that burrowed into my body and settled in my lungs. I moved my feet, following Joon, who already looked stiff and pale.

As we pushed forward, I glanced under my hood at the Omega at my side. I was so proud of my little wolf. She had been through so much, but I could still feel her determination and desire for revenge hanging in the air.

Interestingly, her rage was slowly being overpowered by a growing warmth every time she glanced at Joon.

I could feel the Omega’s love, rage, confusion, and fear all dancing around her. Her intense, mixed emotions focused my mind and gave me an indescribable amount of energy. Joon, on the other hand, like most Alphas, felt one fucking thing at a time. The beasts were so easily consumed by whatever entered their hearts or heads at the moment. They felt it so intensely I wondered how they were capable of getting anything done. The second Joon set eyes on Tzidal after we saved him in the Shadow Forest, I could feel it. The beast was practically obsessed with the little wolf. Joon’s body was constantly switching between searing guilt, overwhelming infatuation, and an indecent, carnal lust that the Alpha did a shit job of hiding.

I could survive for years without a proper meal, just being near them. Feasting and gorging on the sensations pulsing off the wolves. It was exquisite.
