He pulls his hand out of my bra like he’s stopping, staring at me with a look that makes me feel guilty. I’m not sure he’s ever looked at me like that when it comes to sex. Usually I’m the one jumping his bones. “Gab, we haven’t had sex since before we left Miami. We’ve been with your family. I’m not trying to push my luck with that risk. We’re about to have a kid in our bed. It’s going to get harder.”
I stare at him, loving him so much I can’t even think of saying no. I’d probably have sex with him in the same room as his parents if he asked me like that. As if he can read my mind, he starts smiling again, his hands going for the button on my jeans as he kisses me. The waist gives as they come undone, and then the zipper descends. “I’ll fuck you in my bed.”
I extend my neck to kiss him again, my tongue skimming his lips. “Yeah? You think you can do it? I mean, you’ve pushed your limits with a little half and half, but you still haven’t fucked me dirty in your bed.”
He tugs at my bottom lip as he slides his hands down my lower back, dipping them beneath my panties, and then he squeezes my butt. “I’ll do anything for you. After going that long without your body, I want you every damn day if I can get it.”
God, I’m the luckiest girl alive. “Then make me your whore, baby.”
He lifts me up his body until my arms and legs are wrapped around him. I kiss him again, wanting more, but this time don’t pull away. He starts walking like he has the layout of the house memorized, and I know the moment he’s at the staircase. He pulls away to climb them one by one. “You think it’ll always be like this?”
“If it hasn’t changed by now it’s not going to. We know each other’s true colors, Mad. We’re jealous, we’re crazy, and we’re in love. You light my fire and I extinguish yours. As long as we’re together, we can wing the rest.”
As he steps on the top step, he says, “I love you, Gab,” packed with so much emotion my heart swells. There is no way he’s about to fuck me dirty in bed, and that’s okay. Maybe he just doesn’t have it in him.
“I love you too.”
But then he smiles as he steps into his room and swings the door shut. “Let go.”
Seconds later, I’m falling until my back hits the mattress. My body rolls. And then I’m pulled to the edge of the bed and my jeans are jerked down. His belt buckle jingles. “Shit,” I say when he roughly thrusts inside of me.
He grabs the underside of my jaw and pulls me back until my head is cradled in his arm like a football, his face upside down above me as he pounds into me harder than he has in a long damn time. My ass will be bruised. “After all this time you still underestimate me when it comes to you.”
I moan and press into him. So good. “Maybe I just like for you to prove me wrong.”
“We’re gonna do this ‘til the end of time.”
“Why stop there?”
He grins. “You have my heart, Gab. There will never be another girl for me like you.”
“Better not be. Murder isn’t beneath me.”
“Ah, fuck. Your crazy ass is gonna make me come.”
His lips lock with mine—mine right-side up, his upside down—and we experience each other for every time we were apart. When it’s ride or die, he’ll be next to me every time.

Ipull my truck next to Gabby’s Acura and park. It’s late and we’re all exhausted. We’ve barely stopped since we left here. We decided to stay with my parents for a few days so they could get to know Madden and Gabby in a way they should have a long time ago. We’ve been gone almost two weeks. I’m glad to be home.
I glance over at Gabby with nothing but the dash lights on. She’s leaned against the doorframe on her arm with her blonde hair piled high on her head in a ponytail sleeping peacefully, her long sleeve shirt falling off her shoulder and exposing her skin. She’s beautiful. I can’t wait to marry her. Seeing her dressed up at Riggan and Sayler’s wedding in a few days will give me a glance into my future. I wanted to do so many things with her, like prom.
I run the back of my hand down her warm cheek from the truck heat. “Gab, wake up. We’re home, baby.”
“Mmm. Five more minutes.”
I smile. I’d carry her in if I didn’t have to carry Madden, who’s asleep in the backseat. I can get the luggage tomorrow, but I’m not leaving either of them out here late at night while I carry the other inside, and since she’s the adult, she’s just going to have to wake up, pregnant or not. “Baby, let’s go to bed.”
“Kay.”
She hasn’t opened her eyes yet. “If you don’t wake up my tongue is going between your thighs for a wake-up call.”
They pop open, her dark, decadent eyes locking with mine. “I’m up.”
I laugh. “Bummer. I like the way you taste.”
