“Not tired now,” she told me. “Show me,” she whispered seductively, squeezing her legs that were tightly wrapped around my hips.
“How can I say no?” I said in a husky voice, my body vibrating with the need to take her.
“You can’t,” she purred, pressing her core to mine and reaching around to grab my ass.
A groan erupted from deep inside me. “Remind me to thank pregnancy hormones in my prayers tonight,” I teased.
A giggle escaped her sultry, slightly pink, very kissable lips, and she playfully swatted my shoulder.
Then right there on her desk, I gave her exactly what she asked for and showed her just how proud I was before carrying her off to bed.
ChapterThirty-Five
ALLEY
This wasthe kind of Halloween costume I could handle.
I’d found a black stretchy dress that fit over my leggings and on the front where my slight baby bump was, it looked like a baby had pulled open the fabric and was peeking out. Adding a pair of black Converse shoes, and a black cardigan to keep out the cool October night air, I was seriously cozy. Just how I liked it.
Ready to go, I waited by the front door for Landon to come out so we could head over to Summer and Gyth’s place. A lot had changed, and the happy couple buying a brand-new house was one of the things that just happened in the last week. Everyone had helped them move in and they were hosting a housewarming, slash, Halloween party for the whole group. We were even taking the kids trick-or-treating around the neighborhood for a short time.
“Get a move on it, slowpoke! What are you, a girl?” I yelled at Landon through the house.
When he graced me with his presence, I just about swallowed my tongue in both lust and a fit of laughter.
He didn’t.
But he had. My man was dressed up like Michael from the movie,Grease 2. In all leather, with a T-Bird jacket and all. How the hell had he gotten that? His hair was perfectly done, full of product, and placed up rather cool, just how you would see it in the movie. He even had the sideburns to match.
“I thought I would truly give you your cool rider. But we still can’t ride my motorcycle,” he said.
“Not fair,” I said, my lips forming a pout.
He had closed the distance between us and placed his hand on the side of my face. “I’m not taking a chance with either of my girls,” he said softly.
How the hell was I going to put up an argument when he said the sweetest damn things? “Okay,” I said.
“That’s it, no sassing me?” A smirk appeared on his face.
“Nope, we can take my truck though. It’s black and badass, so it comes close to cool enough.” I pulled my keys from my purse that was around my neck and dangled them in his face, taunting him.
“Fine, but I’m driving.” He swiped the keys out of my hand lightning fast and leaned in and took my mouth with his, swallowing my tongue to silence the argument he knew would come with that statement.
By the time he let me up for air and had thoroughly ravished me, I’d forgotten to argue at all.

Summer and Gyth’shouse was amazing.
I’d seen it when we all moved them in, but now they had everything set up and put away.
“Hey,” Gyth greeted us, as he opened the door and waved us in the house. “Everyone is hanging out in the kitchen and great room.”
When we walked in, we were greeted by the cutest sight. Ash had followed Gyth to the door, dressed in her very own costume. She had on the sweetest, white, angel costume. It fit because Ash was just that, an angel. She was there when Summer needed her most and if I was being honest, Gyth too.
As we started by him after giving Ash a good petting, Gyth had laughter bursting out of me. “I should be ashamed I knowexactlywhat you dressed up as,” he told Landon. “But my woman has made me watch the movie enough times.” He grunted, but a grin lit up his face as he pretended to act put out by it. Summer had him wrapped around her finger so I knew that he would do anything the girl asked.
“You too, huh?” Landon asked as we moved toward the loud voices already in full party mode.
