Grayson smiled and then left. He went into Liam and Alex’s room. “What did you see?” he asked.

“Check this out. Doug Peterson went to someone’s house last night. It looks like he threatened some woman.”

Grayson watched the feed. “Nice place.”

“You saw them. All the homes in this complex are nice.”

Grayson hadn’t paid much attention to the neighborhood last night, and he should have. He’d watched Doug get out of his car, stride up to the door, and then pounded on it. Most people would use the doorbell or knock. Just then Rider and Paris came in. They both stepped over to the computer, and Alex replayed the video.

“Is Doug usually this aggressive?” Liam asked her.

“I only see him at work, but I’ve had the sense for some time that he has to work hard to control himself.”

“I know the door mostly blocks the woman’s face, but do you recognize her?”

She shook her head. “I don’t really socialize with anyone.” She faced the group. “I told Rider, but the three of you deserve to know. I came to Chesterfield to spy on Richard Delancey not to party with a lot of friends.”

Grayson placed a hand on her shoulder. “Did you know him before?”

“Sort of. He’s my father.”

“Holy fuck. Seriously?” Grayson couldn't believe it.

“Sad to say, yes. I figured that any man who would do what he did to my mother had to be evil.”

“Did you know he was dealing drugs?” Liam asked.

“No. I still don’t know for sure. It was when I started to hear about the overdoses that I became suspicious. I had thought he was skimming off the company’s profits. To date, I haven’t found any evidence of that though.”

Rider nodded to the screen. “Let me call Mick McLaughlin. He, Connolly, and Charley should be back from their vacation. I bet he can tell us who lives at that house. Were you able to see an address?”

“Yes.” Liam texted him the information.

“I’ll give Mick a call.” He dialed his number and was happy when he answered. They’d worked on taking down one of the directors of Harrison Industries a few weeks ago. “Mick, it’s Rider Scott.”

“Hey, man, how’s it going? My brother mentioned the general has you on a case nearby.”

“My friend and I are investigating Richard Delancey.”

“Ah, yes. The head of Harrison Industries. Need any help? Ian and I are in the process of setting up the warehouse we bought near there, but Charley is going stir crazy.”

It would be great if he could use those three again. “You’re back in town then?” Charley lived about a half hour away, but Rider wasn’t sure where the three were staying.

“We are.”

Charley was an expert marksman, both with a rifle as well as with a crossbow. In fact, she’d been the one to stop Dr. Elkhart from escaping. “We’ve got a spare hotel room if the three of you want to spend a few days with us. I think we are close to wrapping up this drug dealer.”

“I’d love to help. I'll check with the others and get back to you.”

“Great. In the meantime, do you think you can find some information for us?”

“I can try. What do you need?”

Rider explained about the harassed woman and the man who did the badgering. He then told him the address. “Any information would be helpful.”
