Chapter One

Early October 2016

Dennis pulled his phone from his pocket and smiled at the text from the hot girl he’d met at the bar several months before at closing time.

Nicki had let him turn her inside out a few times, blew up his phone at all hours, and they hooked up in bizarre locations.

They’d fallen off after a couple of weeks but he didn’t mind because the woman might be down to fuck but she could be crazy as hell.

Still, he didn’t have plans.

You up, Den?

With a shit-eating grin, he responded immediately.

Hell yes.

Walking to the shower, he hit the hot spots, brushed his teeth, and pulled on track pants, a long-sleeve t-shirt, and running shoes kept loose. The weather was getting colder but he wanted as little to take off and put on as possible.

A text waited for him when he returned to his bedroom.

You know where I live.

Leaving the door unlocked for you.

First bedroom to the left. Let’s do this shit.

Spraying on deodorant and minimal cologne, he grabbed condoms, his keys, and a bottle of water. Behind the wheel of his car, he texted her back.

On my way.

It took him fifteen minutes to get to her house from his own on the other side of town. He parked along the curb and locked it up. Nicki’s street was dark. Her house was dark, and he fit right the fuck in.

The thought made him laugh.

The front door opened easily and he stepped into the foyer. Closing and locking it behind him, he took in the general layout.

He’d fucked Nicki in her driveway, her garage, and her pool but he’d never actually been inside her house.

She was odd that way.

Letting his eyes adjust, Dennis headed across the living room to a hallway on the left and quietly opened the first door.

A body snuggled under the blankets made him smile. Nicki must have fallen asleep waiting for him. Her long brown hair fell over the side of the bed as she laid on her stomach.

Perfect.

Stripping down, he took out a condom so he didn’t forget, put his phone on silent, and walked across the room.

The light was low but he hated when people woke him with brightness or noise. Pulling back the blankets, he laid down beside her and kissed her bare shoulder. She stirred groggily as he stroked his palm down her back to her ass.

He whispered, “I’m glad you texted. You sleepy?”

“Uh…”

“I’ll do all the work. Let me get you ready. I need you slick and relaxed so you can take me. Don’t wanna hurt you.”

Gently nudging her thighs apart with his palm, he felt her tremble with anticipation. “Let me put it on you. I must be half crazy coming out in the middle of the night to fuck.”
