“It was precious.” She rubbed her hand against mine, resting on her baby bump. “Do you wish we’d had a ceremony instead of going to the courthouse?”

“No. All that mattered to me was marrying you.” I moved to see her face better. “Do you wish we’d had a wedding?” We’d been caught up in tying the knot as fast as possible that I should’ve considered her more.

She held her hand in front of her to gaze at the diamond ring I’d bought her. “No, I got what I wanted. The most incredible and sexiest husband on the planet.”

“Mrs. Montez, you’re making me blush.”

She giggled, making her tummy shake. “Tonight, you can make me blush.”

“Oh yeah? And how would you like me to do that?”

“I want you to watch me, like when we were in Montana.”

My pecker jerked in my pants with excitement. I cupped the back of her neck and pulled her delicious lips to mine. “It’s a date, Bonita.”

“I can’t wait.” She twisted her tongue with mine. Fuck, I wanted her this second.

“Maybe we should duck out for a quickie.”

“We can’t.”

“Why not?”

“The old ladies have a surprise.”

I reared my head back. “What kind of surprise?”

“It wouldn’t be a surprise if I told you, now would it.” She fluttered her eyelashes all cute and shit.

“Okay, Bonita. I won’t force you to tell me.”

“Psh, as if you can force me to do anything I don’t want to do.”

“True.” I leaned in for another taste of her sweet lips.

“Track!” Storm waved me over to where my brothers were with the groom.

I groaned. “Looks like we’re going to toast to the groom. I’ll be back as soon as I can.”

“It’s fine. I need to go get ready.”

“Ready for what?”

“The surprise.” She rolled her eyes.

“Now I’m really intrigued.” I dropped a kiss on her lips and went to join my brothers.

Storm handed me a shot glass. “Looks like we’re all here.” He scanned the circle.

Everyone except for Copper and Ryder, who were doing time. Cash and Espada had come out for the wedding. It was great being with them again. I hadn’t realized how much I had missed them until I saw them again.

“Ire, we are happy for you and Ava. Married life rocks.” Storm searched for his wife. “Am I right, married guys?”

“Yes,” I shouted, proud to be one of the husbands.

“Aww, come on. I have plenty of rockin’ times without a wife, ese.” Espada puffed out his chest.

“Same,” Hollywood said.
