Her hands moved upward along his chest to stroke his neck. “Yes.”

He rolled her onto her back, looming above her. Tessa smiled, played with his hair, tickled the scruff on his face, and sighed with happiness. When gasps sounded from people nearby, she arched one eyebrow. “Did we miss something?”

Alex kissed her one more time, rose from her body, and lifted her onto his lap. “Look at the waterfall.”

“Is that a rainbow?”

“It’s a moonbow. That’s why I brought you here. I planned to tell you how much I love you, but you beat me to it.”

Tessa chuckled, slid her hands across his wide shoulders, and watched the colors dancing in the water spray. “Can we come back?”

His mouth spread in a bright smile. “Every full moon.”

“Our spot,” she whispered.

“You have many special spots,” Alex groaned, licking her neck.

Although the moonbow was spectacular, it didn’t hold a candle next to Alex. “I need you,” she moaned against his mouth.

“Home, hotel, woods? I don’t know if we’ll make it. I think the motorcycle might have to do.”

“Is that how it is?”

“Always, and I plan to show you.”

They made it two miles on an abandoned, dirt road before she was naked, straddled over his lap, riding him under the cover of darkness.

“You’re so wet,” he murmured against one breast, sucking it into his mouth.

Her back arched, eyes gazing at the stars while he slid a condom on. Engorged and long, he thrust upward in tight, torturous movements. Her shirt was open, and he sucked one nipple. Tingles snaked over her flesh and her nub rubbed hispelvis. His jeans were lowered enough the button slid against her ass, and her feet were locked behind his back. She clung to his neck as he pumped her, bringing her closer to the edge with each stroke.

“Come for me, Tessa. Soak my dick.”

Her core spasmed with his words and the need in his voice. Alex grasped her hips and captured her mouth as hot seed filled his condom. In the aftermath, he rested his forehead against hers. “Your place or mine? We have a lot to catch up on.”

Tessa threaded her fingers in his hair. “Come home with me.”

Epilogue

A warm summer breeze lazily slid through the trees, and the lake danced with sunshine, caressing its surface as if welcoming an old friend. The cabin had been transformed into a charming cottage in the woods for the wedding, and Alex couldn’t be more pleased. Soon he would take a bride, a wife to love and cherish, and he couldn’t wait to see Tessa in her dress. She would be as breathtaking as his current view.

Although Tessa originally wanted to use the dock for the wedding, they’d agreed on the cabin. The terrain would be easier for guests. Actually, his sisters had a hand in it, but they became the siblings Tessa always wanted, and she valued their opinions.

He did return to the FBI but didn’t travel nearly as much, nor did he accept undercover assignments unless necessary.

Tables with white tablecloths sat in the small yard, and a dance floor occupied one area, large enough for a few couples. This affair wasn’t huge, but on the small side. It was exactly what he and Tessa wanted. Fairy lights clung to the branches on the trees and several lanterns hung from twine. Their wedding cake sat on a table inside the cabin.

They all spent a great deal of time here now and renovated the property. Tessa loved to come here, but they lived at her place. Many weekends they’d hop on his motorcycle and speed away to different destinations. The cabin had become their fondest memory, and Cumberland Falls their special spot.

“Are you ready?”

Alex pivoted on the new deck, and offered a smile to one of his brother-in-law’s, Tim, who happened to be an officiant. “I’ve never been more ready.”

Tim gestured to the arch in one corner. “Shall we? I hear your bride is anxious.”

“I haven’t been barefoot in years,” Aidan groaned, glancing at his bare feet. You know, Tessa was quite shocked whenwe met.” Aidan arched one eyebrow. “And she’s beautiful. Can I have her back? We still haven’t found a permanent replacement.”

Alex rocked on his heels. “No.”
