“You got in late last night, or should I say this morning?” Elle questions me as she putters around the kitchen.

I let out a heavy sigh. “That’s because I had the most incredible night with a guest.”

Elle stops what she’s doing and gives me her full attention.

“Remember that hot guy I showed you at the beginning of the night. It was him. I hope he returns so we can do it all over again. I had a look at his socials this morning because I was still so turned on by him. I needed a visual to push me over.”

“Lauren,” she says my name, not looking pleased with me.

“I can look at him after the fact. I know the rules of the club, but it doesn’t mean I can’t look. I didn’t follow him or anything.”

She shakes her head. “I can see on your face you have a crush on him. This will only end in tears for you.”

She’s right. I know she is, but it doesn’t mean I’m going to cross the line with him outside the club. I know the rules.

“Vixen was there as well, and she was in a playful mood, so you can imagine the trouble she caused. I nearly blacked out with the number of orgasms I had last night,” I tell her, hoping that explains why I’m so giddy this morning.

Elle’s mouth falls open in surprise.

“I know. Then Mr. Fox asked me to stay, and we had burgers, beers, Netflix, and chilled. We were so exhausted that we fell asleep, and it wasn’t until a message on the tablet came through that we woke up. Honestly, it was the best time I’ve had with a guest in I can’t remember.”

“You sound smitten,” Elle queries as she eyes me suspiciously.

“I’m still on a high of great sex and good food. Let me have it.”

“As long as you know nothing can happen outside the club,” she warns me.

“Yes, Mum, I know. Anyway, I’m off to Ibiza for the weekend, so all thoughts of Mr. Fox will be long gone. There are hot Spanish men waiting for me. I’m so bummed you can’t come.”

“I know it sucks, but I won’t get any closer to making my dream a reality if I keep taking holidays and spending all my cash. We were in the South of France a few months ago for that event.”

“It would be my shout,” I tell her, pouting because I’m going to miss my wing woman.

“I know you would make a wonderful sugar momma, but you know how anal I am about owing people.”

I get Elle’s aversion to owing people money. Her parents cut her off when she was eighteen and took her trust fund away because she modeled instead of attending university. She wanted her life to take a different path than what her parents wanted for her. Instead, they cut her off and haven’t spoken to her since, not that it was a loss to begin with. They forgot about Elle most of the time anyway unless they needed her to show up at one of their parties and play the role of doting parents.

“Your sister is going to kill it. I can’t believe she’s got residency at Minx for the summer. That’s going to catapult her career,” Elle says excitedly.

“Ines has been working so hard. I can’t wait to celebrate it with her. I haven’t seen her in ages.” I bite into another cupcake and moan around the spongy goodness.

“Have fun and forget all about Mr. Fox,” Elle suggests, pointing at me with a frosting-dipped spatula.

“We’re going to Ibiza, baby,” my older sister, Ines Mattisson, international jet-setting superstar DJ, squeals as we step out of the car at the private airport in London where our jet is being fueled. “We need photos in front of the jet. This is crazy. They’re flying us on a private jet. Can you believe it?” my sister tells me as we stare at the jet in front of us.

There’s a red carpet rolled out from where the car has stopped to the start of the jet’s stairs.

Fancy!

Ines pulls out her phone, and we take a couple of photos standing out front before Ines videos her walking the red carpet and then up the stairs.

“You’re going to get so sick of me doing this,” Ines tells the air hostess who greets her at the top of the stairs.

“This is tame compared to what I’ve seen.” She gives my sister a knowing wink.

Oh, now I’m curious. I want all the juicy tea.
