“What? Huh?” Phoenix stuttered, his eyes bulging at the revelation.

Porter sat back with a look of triumph, his grin wide as he crossed his ankles out in front of him. Otto chuckled at them, shaking his head in mirth.

“It never would’ve been anyone but her for me,” he admitted. “I’ve been looking for her,” he said, his eyes sweeping to mine, a secret we carried. “I hoped she’d be the one to complete us. It wasn’t my intention, but by sharing her stories and telling you all about her, she became a part of you, too. I think we’ve all been in love with a version of her for a long time.”

Phoenix sat back; his eyes narrowed as he thought. “So both of you figured we’d need to share a girl? I understand your reasoning, Otto, because it was Little Bird, but I don’t get yours, Brother.” He turned to his twin, sadness etched on his face as he looked at him, something from his past triggering him at this moment.

“Bro, how often has someone tried to break us apart?” Porter whispered, clasping Phoenix by the neck, their foreheads touching. “At first, I wanted someone for us both to love so we’d never have to worry about being separated.” Phoenix took in a deep breath, nodding that he understood. Porter turned his head, addressing us, “Then, when we all became a family, I knew it had to be the four of us. I couldn’t stand the thought of losing anyone else I cared about. Plus, with how our lives are, traveling from one place to another and the secrecy, it seemed logical to limit the number of people involved.”

He stopped, closed his eyes for a second before a smile spread, and sighed.

“You can’t deny how hot it is having someone between us, Bro. We work well together, and bringing a woman to orgasm with our combined forces is sexy as hell. Cutie-pie deserves all the pleasure.”

Phoenix gaped at him before shutting his mouth, a look of understanding and acceptance coming over him. He cleared his throat, shifting in his seat.

“Yeah, okay. You make a lot of good points. And I wouldn’t walk away from Raven even if you hadn’t. I hope she’s on board with this. I don’t want to lose her.”

We could all hear the unspoken words in his statement. He couldn’t lose her.He wouldn’t survive it. I had a feeling we all felt the same.

When their eyes landed on me, I realized they were waiting for my answer. Swallowing, I nodded but pushed the words out, knowing it was important to say it.

“I’m in.”

The three of them relaxed, their eyes falling back on the girl in my arms. I’d felt her stir a little bit ago and knew she’d been listening. I smoothed her hair back, caressing a thumb across her cheek. Her blue eyes opened, meeting mine as she peered into my soul again. I raised an eyebrow, hoping she knew what I was asking. The others froze, realizing she was awake now, silently panicking over what they’d said and how much she’d heard.

She licked her lips, turning her head to peer at all the others. Porter braved the silence, asking her outright.

“What do you think, Cutie-Pie? Do you want to be our girl?” His smile was crooked as hope brimmed in his eyes, his lungs barely moving as he waited for her to respond.

“I’ve never been anyone’s anything before,” she admitted. “It’s kind of hard to date when you live with a bunch of girls in a secret house, and your job is to kill people. I’ve met others through things, but it was just a way to pass the time. There wasn’t romance or anything. What if I’m not good at it?”

“Little Bird, you don’t have to be good at it. You just have to be ours. That’s all we want. But just so you know, you’re already great at it,” Otto assured, squeezing her hand.

“Oh.” Her cheeks turned that beautiful pink again. “And I don’t have to choose? I can be with you all? As in dating and sexy things?” she asked, gulping.

“Yes, you’d be with all of us. However that looks for you. We won’t pressure you into anything. You’d never have to choose between us. I know this has been fast and out of the blue, so if you need time to think about it—”

“I don’t need time,” Raven said, cutting off Otto. “I want to have you all—no one else. And you won’t date anyone else?” she asked.

“No,” the four of us said at once. Her body relaxed as she smiled.

“Then yes. I want to be yours.”

Never had words sounded so beautiful to me before.

She was ours, and I was hers.

RAVEN

My heart overflowedwith happiness at the guys claiming me. I pinched myself just to make sure I hadn’t been dreaming. The small bruise now joined my others, evidence that it had all happened.

The plane landed shortly after, and we gathered our belongings, waving goodbye to Phillip as we descended the stairs. I headed toward the black SUV that waited, in a bit of a daze from the past few hours. I wasn’t used to being around people this much. There were a million thoughts trying to escape my head that I’d kept contained, not wanting them to think I was weird. Or… At least weirder.

“You can only hide it for so long,” I mumbled, rolling my eyes at myself.

“Huh?” Porter said behind me. My cheeks heated as I peered over my shoulder.
