I found it interesting that she ignored the fact that I said I was here to see her and simply assumed my visit was about seeing the place. While I wasn’t opposed to having her give me a tour, I was certainly more interested in being able to talk to her than I was about checking out the homes.
“You weren’t in the middle of anything, were you?” I asked.
She shook her head. “Nothing important at all.”
“Well, then I’m more than ready to hear all about this place,” I told her. “I’m really looking forward to seeing inside one of the homes that hasn’t been turned into the registration house. I know I was here and saw the one Ellery stayed in when she was here, but I’d been so focused on what we were doing for her that I really didn’t pay much attention to the house itself.”
Hanna smiled brightly at me as she moved out from behind the counter. “The Steel Hideaway was the perfect spot for her. She loved it, and when he came to stay with her, I don’t think Kane had any issues with it, either.”
“I think you’re right,” I said. “Considering they chose to stay here instead of Kane’s place is a pretty good indication of that.”
Surprise washed over her. “Oh, you’re right. I hadn’t even thought of that until you mentioned it. I wonder why they didn’t just stay at his place.”
After shooting her a knowing look, I explained, “I think it’s probably because he really wanted to do what was going to make her most comfortable, and if the place she was staying at here had a second bedroom, it likely gave them that option.”
Understanding washed over her. Following a brief moment of silence, Hanna asked, “Are you ready?”
I threw my hand out to the side in the direction of the door and urged, “Lead the way.”
As she walked out of the home ahead of me, I didn’t hesitate to take her in. Hanna was on the shorter side, probably close to five feet four inches, if I had to guess. She had such a pretty face and gorgeous hair, and she also had a fantastic body.
A slender waist with beautiful hips. Her ass was utter perfection, and she had incredible tits.
It seemed she was blessed with the best curves in all the right places, and I wasn’t ashamed to admit that I wondered what her body would feel like if it were naked beneath mine.
I couldn’t stop myself from imagining how soft and warm it would feel. And considering there was this slightly more talkative version of her I was getting now, I was curious to know what noises she’d make and how she’d sound.
There was no question about it. Hanna was quite the vixen, even if she didn’t realize just how much of an effect she had on me.
I was still looking at Hanna’s ass when she turned around to talk to me and happened to catch me. Quickly, I lifted my gaze to her face and prayed she wouldn’t kick me off her property.
Good fortune must have been on my side, because Hanna graciously ignored what my lingering eyes had been doing and she began talking to me. “So, as I told you earlier this morning, I’ve got guests staying in two of the homes, so I can only show you the other two and the activity center right now.”
“That’s okay. I’m sure that’s going to be more than enough to make a decision,” I assured her.
The truth was, I didn’t need this tour to know that I’d stay here at Hanna’s place without a second thought. I had a feeling it would mean a lot to her to have someone staying as a guest and joining her for her scheduled movie night. Having one of the private houses to stay in would be nice, but I’d have slept on the couch in the registration house if it meant I might get an extra glimpse of her.
We approached the first house, and she said, “This is the Steel Hideaway, which, as I said before, is the one that Ellery and Kane had stayed in. It sleeps up to six people, so it’s overkill for a single guest. But in Ellery’s case, because she had booked an extended stay, I thought she’d be more comfortable with a little more space. Besides, it wasn’t as though I had a waiting list of people wanting to get in.”
Hanna opened the door and the two of us walked inside as I asked, “Are you hoping it gets to that point?”
“Of course,” she returned. “As you know, I would love to build a few more houses on the property, but the only way that’s going to happen is if those letters and brochures I sent out do the trick. I mean, I got that inheritance that helped me to pay for all that I have here right now, but it was split between myself and two others. So, I’m going to have to work just a bit harder to get those remaining homes built.”
For the next few minutes, Hanna showed me around one of the larger tiny homes she had on the property before we moved to another one. I’d never had an opportunity to really see the all the features a tiny home had to offer, and I was very impressed by the way in which the space was utilized. No available space went to waste, and while I imagined it might be difficult to raise a large family in one, I could see how something small and intimate like this could be appealing to someone who was living on their own, a couple, or even a small family with one or two children. Life could certainly be more focused on experiences and time together with people who mattered instead of spent constantly working.
“These are great,” I told Hanna.
“You really think so?” she countered.
Nodding my head, I insisted, “They’re fantastic. I really thought that you’d have to give up some of the basics to live in one, but apparently, that’s not the case.”
Still smiling—a look I was beginning to like a whole lot on her face—Hanna replied, “That’s all we need, right? The basics. It’s kind of the whole point of them. Sometimes, I think people get too caught up in material possessions, and the bottom line is that none of it really matters. Sure, it’s nice, but at the end of the day, comfort, security, safety, and the essentials are far more important.”
She was so humble and grounded. It wasn’t any of my business to ask her about the specifics of her inheritance, and I thought it would be rude to do so. But I wasn’t an idiot. There was no question that she’d spent a couple hundred thousand on this property. And maybe the long-term goal would be so that she could provide a living for herself, but it was clear she wasn’t getting rich off this place. That said, I didn’t think it was out of the realm of possibility for her if more people knew about it.
“I couldn’t agree with you more,” I told her. “I like this whole idea, Hanna. I’d be surprised if things don’t take off here for you soon.”
Something warmed in her expression. “That’s nice of you to say. I hope you’re right. In the meantime, why don’t I show you the activity center?”
