Fire licking his loins, Hawk wanted more. With a growl, he sat up, wrapped his arms around Jude, and hurdled them off the bed and against the wall. Taking Jude’s knees under his arms, he began to pound into him, hard and rough.

Jude held on, crossing his ankles behind Hawk’s back, his fingers digging into Hawk’s shoulders and his now-hard cock rubbing against Hawk’s cut abs.

Hawk couldn’t hold back any longer—he came within minutes, barely registering Jude’s low groan as an explosion of pleasure turned him inside out. Falling backward onto the bed, he lay there panting while Jude dismounted and cleaned up the mess he’d left between them.

“You didn’t put a condom on me,” Hawk said hoarsely, eyes closed. He was fucking exhausted.

He felt Jude sit down on the bed. “I’m sorry. I should have, I know.”

Hawk opened his eyes.

Jude’s face was contrite. “I haven’t done anything in a while, and Sam and I always used a condom.”

Hawk couldn’t help the scowl that pulled his face down, not liking the reminder of what Sam had done to Jude.

“You don’t know if I’m clean,” Hawk said, patting Jude’s naked calf. “No reason to think I’m not, but I don’t like risking your health.”

Leaning close to Hawk’s face, Jude kissed his cheek. “We’ll use a condom next time.”

Hawk couldn’t help but smile. “We could get tested. That felt awesome.”

“It really did,” Jude said, smiling back at him.

The sound of the front door and footsteps over their head told them someone was home.

“Let’s take a quick shower,” Hawk suggested.

“Another one?” Jude sighed and smiled. “I guess I should wash your cum off the insides of my thighs.”

Jude slid off the bed and grabbed his robe, then froze when he heard Hawk draw in a breath.

“Wait,” Hawk said, hand on Jude’s waist. Jude held still, closing his eyes as he realized what Hawk was looking at.

Hawk’s finger traced over the tattoo above Jude’s ass.

“It’s a hawk,” he said in wonder.

Hanging his head, Jude remained silent. He’d forgotten all about the tattoo and trying to keep Hawk from seeing it. He didn’t know if he cared about that anymore.

Hawk pressed a kiss between Jude’s shoulder blades. “I like it. A lot,” he said gruffly.

Gently pulling away, Jude slipped into his robe and handed Hawk a towel to wrap around his waist before opening the door.

They walked into the locker room and got into one of the stalls together, turning on a warm spray of water and soaping each other between languid kisses that would have had Hawk hard again if he wasn’t so drained. He jacked off Jude with a soapy hand, watching his face when he came before smothering him with kisses.

“God, I can’t move,” Jude said, leaning into Hawk afterward while Hawk rinsed them both off. He followed up by drying them with a towel, then, once they’d made sure the coast was clear, they hurried back to Jude’s room and crawled into bed.

“Are we really going to make a go of it? Of us?” Jude asked, just to make sure he and Hawk were on the same page.

“I want to.”

“So do I,” Jude said truthfully.

“Are you sure you don’t want to model? Because we can work it out somehow. Just because I’m here in North Carolina…”

“I’m sure. I’ve been giving it a lot of thought. What I don’t know is what I want to do. I definitely don’t want to go back to New York City.” Jude edged closer to Hawk in the bed, and Hawk wrapped his arm around him. “Because of Prescott?”

“Not just because of him,” Jude said.
