“I’m fine. Okay? Don’t look so upset.” I hugged him.

“I went overboard,” Liam muttered. “Last night, I pushed you too far.”

“Help me shower,” I said.

He obliged and turned on the water for me. Once it was hot, he held my arm to keep me steady as I stepped in. I wasn’t as loopy anymore, but I still felt extremely drained. I wouldn’t admit that to Liam. He looked guilty enough. I didn’t regret last night, and I hated how it seemed like he did.

I sighed happily as the hot spray pelted my aching limbs. With the sliding door partially opened, Liam stood outside and kept his hand on my back. It was smart because I didn’t know how long I could hold myself up.

“Can you grab my soap in my bag and a washcloth?” I asked.

His palm moved off my back slightly. “You’re okay standing on your own?” He hesitated, and I nodded. Not even ten seconds later, he was outside the shower again, handing me my things.

His eyes traveled over me. His mouth was in a straight line, eyebrows furrowed in the middle. My stomach pinched at the anger in his expression. Was he upset with himself?

“Join me.” I tugged on his arm to let him know I wanted him in there with me. “You can help me wash my hair,” I said.

He shucked off his boxers, and my stomach warmed at the sight of his hardened cock. I wanted nothing to do with that thing right then, but that didn’t mean I couldn’t admire him, knowing that lean, perfect male had been beneath and above me all night long.

“No funny business,” I added.

He slipped in behind me, closing the sliding door. He pulled me against his chest. “You’re weak. I wouldn’t dare take anymore from you in this state.”

Squirting a dollop of shampoo into his hands, Liam lathered my hair. Ah… It was sublime. My head tilted back as he massaged my head. His dick constantly poked me from behind. Each time it did, he’d step back. When I rinsed out the soap, I took the bottle and washed his hair. He bent down for me and l rubbed his head until it was a foaming mess.

Our bodies came next. Washcloth forgotten; Liam washed me with his hands at the same time I cleaned him with mine. When I grabbed his erection and soaped him up, it wasn’t sexual. I genuinely wanted to take care of him the same way he did me. His hands delved between my legs, soaping me until bubbles ran down my ass crack. His touches were careful and soft the entire time he washed me, and I basked in it. My head slumped against his shoulder by the time we were bubble free. Hunger and exhaustion weighed on me, but I wanted a thousand more moments like this.

The second I thought my eyes could handle looking at my phone, I’d search for ways to counteract blood loss. There had to be a supplement or somethingthat would make it easier for Liam to feed from me.

While Liam dried me off, someone pounded on the motel door. “I’ve come with food,” Steve yelled, and I shot Liam a smirk.

Liam didn’t rush to open the door. He helped me with the robe and carried me to the bed before finally letting Steve and Pete in.

Steve froze when he spotted me on the bed. He frowned as he dropped the bag on the bed beside me. “You okay?” he asked.

“Do I look bad or something?” I touched my wet hair.

He smiled. “You could never look bad. Just a little pale.” His lips tightened as he glanced at Liam. “You took way more than needed.”

Liam glanced at Steve. “Tell Chris to take a nap later. We’ll head out tonight to give Jayne time to rest.”

Their next concert was tomorrow, so I needed to pull myself together before then.

“I’m fine,” I protested, but the two of them still glowered at each other. Was Steve that upset with Liam for drinking so much of my blood?

“Jayne needs rest. Go outside if you’re going to argue,” Pete muttered to his bandmates as he dropped some Wendy’s in front of me. Even with a pounding skull, my mouth watered as the smell hit my nose. While I looked through the food to see what they ordered, Pete grabbed a bottled water from a different bag.

I snatched the bottle from him and drank half of it before I came up for air. It was a bad idea. All that water felt heavy on my stomach. Forcing myself to set the water down, I unwrapped the cheeseburger and ate it slowly. Three pairs of gloomy eyes watched me the entire time.

“What?” I finally asked.

Pete dropped beside me on the bed, eyes roaming and nostrils flaring on the bed. “Can’t we worry about you?” Then his eyes blackened, and he froze.

“Pete,” Liam warned.

Steve jerked Pete off the bed. “You can smell Jayne the strongest there.”

I blushed, then shot Steve a scowl for rough-handling Pete. “Blood affects you that easily?”
