Dax walked a few feet, confusing me about where he was going. A door opened, and a light turned on as he sat me atop a counter.

“What are you doing?” I asked, blinking. A glass shower stall stood before me.

“Cleaning you up, Petal.” He turned on the water and waited until it was the correct temperature before returning to retrieve me. Gently, he washed my body, taking extra time with his favorite parts. Once he had me all sudsy, he pushed me up against the glass, nipping my ear.

“And now I can make you all dirty again.”

With my breasts pressed against the glass, he lifted one leg up and slid into me, my body quaking as he positioned himself. With long strokes, he thrust slowly into me like a lullaby, luring my body to where he wanted it. His fingers flicked at my clit, while the other rolled my nipple. His mouth sucked on my neck, and I knew a mark would be there tomorrow. My legs shook as another orgasm built, my body overloaded with sensations as everything came online, and white dots exploded behind my eyes as I came so hard.

Feeling completely spent, I sank into his arms as he picked up his speed, hitting me so deep with his cock that I almost saw stars again.

After another rinse, I was dried off with gentle hands, and Reed gave me some clean clothes to put on. I joined the others and noticed the pressure that had been on my chest was lessened. Maybe it was the altitude, or perhaps I just loved being with all three of them. Either way, I was happy to have them by my side.

CHAPTER THIRTY

Henley

Sweat beaded on my forehead, and my lungs felt like they might collapse at any second. My body ached in a good way, evidence of a hard workout. Dax had run us all through an intense training program over the past three weeks, making me want to punch him in the nuts most of the time while doing it. But I couldn’t deny how much stronger I felt or the range of motion I now had. It had upped my game even more, and I gave all the credit to him. Dax was excellent at his job, even if he didn’t believe it.

Tonight we were flying to Baltimore for the skills showdown against Dakota and staying at Fletcher’s place. He’d given us all sheepish looks when he mentioned it, realizing he’d forgotten to tell us about owning a house in Baltimore.

None of us had been mad, though, knowing we were still getting to know all the little details about each other with everything going on. In a typical relationship of four months, we wouldn’t have dealt with half of the things we’d already done. So in that perspective, we were doing better than we gave ourselves credit for, knowing there were a lot of things we’d learn about each other along the way.

“How are you feeling?” Reed asked, wiping his own forehead.

“Sore but ready. I’m trying not to think about it too much and be in the moment. I don’t want to psych myself out.”

“Smart. You have the skills and are a better player than him. Trust in your abilities, and everyone else will see as well.”

“Thanks, Reed.” I hugged him close, not minding that his sweat-slicked shirt stuck to my cheek. He kissed my head, his arms wrapping around me. I loved just being in his arms; that sense of calm I always got filled me up.

“Hit the showers, you two. Reese will be by soon,” Dax hollered from the front.

“Eek!” I jumped and raced to the locker room. Taking the world’s quickest shower, I rinsed all the sweat off of me and washed my hair in record speed. I’d have to deal with the cold air on my hair because I wasn’t wasting the time to dry it here.

Throwing on some clothes, the guys laughed as I pushed them out of the locker room and into the car. I bounced on my feet the whole time, wondering if I could’ve run home quicker. Reed finally pulled into the garage a few minutes later, and I flung my door open, jumping out before it was turned off.

Dax chuckled at me from the front seat, but I didn’t care, racing to the door so I could get inside. Fletcher had taken Reese for their last checkup so I could get in one more training session, and I was dying to know if they’d been fully cleared. While they’d been able to play some games since the injury, it had been limited to a few minutes each period. Trying to curb someone’s playtime was almost as hard as keeping them out altogether.

With the tournament around the corner, I was eager to know if Reese could play at full capacity. Both the team and Reese needed that assurance. We’d only lost one more game since the injury, but morale hadn’t recovered since Reese was sidelined. The team needed them.

“What did they say?” I screamed as I rushed into the house, barely stopping myself from sliding into the kitchen table.

“That my sister is nuts,” Reese retorted, sticking their tongue out at me. But they held up their wrist and rolled it around without limitations. “I’m cleared. The joint has fully healed, and I think it’s all because of you, Dax.” Reese beamed at my blushing boyfriend as he scratched the back of his head. I’d never seen his cheeks heat so much.

“You’re just everyone’s hero today,” I bragged, wrapping my arms around him and looking at his handsome face. His eyes seared into me, love and gratefulness shining down at me.

“I’m glad I could help,” he told Reese, shuffling his feet.

“You have all your stuff packed?” I asked, walking over to hug Fletcher hello.

“Yep. I’m glad we could get a few hours while we were there. It’s the only free weekend we have until after the playoffs.”

After the skills exhibition game, we were taking Reese and a few of the other seniors to visit some of the college programs. With the playoffs around the corner and then national team tryouts for Worlds, there wasn’t much time left to check out places they might want to attend.

Though, Reese had their heart set on Wentworth University, where Fletcher and I’d gone despite my insistence to look at more places. It would be interesting to see if that changed with what Cam, Jack, Braden, and Briana decided. Their group had become so close, I rarely saw one of them without the other.

A horn honked outside, jolting me out of my thoughts, and I quickly darted to my bedroom to change. When everyone had wanted to come to the showdown, Fletcher and Keaton teamed up by offering their planes and split the group into two manageable parties. I couldn’t recall what life had been like before knowing people with their own private jets.
