Alex had gone for a walk after they’d returned to the palace for the evening. She’d spent the day watching Bexley in action again, and she’d had a very nice fantasy of Bexley at the front of the room, with her glasses being held at her lips. None of the students were there, but Alex was in the front row. Bexley had worn a pencil skirt today with a blouse tucked into it. In her fantasy, Alex had untucked it, pushed that skirt up a bit, pulled at the thin panties beneath until they were on the floor somewhere, and then helped Bexley lie down on the table. Alex’s lips had been on Bexley’s thighs, kissing up and getting closer to where she wanted to be. When, in her fantasy, she’d taken Bexley with her mouth, Bexley had yelled her name and had her hand on the back of Alex’s head, begging her not to stop. Alex hadn’t stopped.
“Oh, hey,” Bexley said.
“Bexley!” Alex spoke back, stopping her steps and blushing instantly.
She’d just been thinking about how good Bexley had tasted in her fantasy, and now, the woman was standing right in front of her, looking so sexy in a light-blue peacoat and a pair of skinny jeans.
“You okay?” Bexley asked, tucking her phone into her jacket pocket.
“Yes, I’m all right. How are you?”
“I’m okay,” Bexley replied before adding, “I just got off the phone with my ex-girlfriend.”
“Oh?” Alex asked, her curiosity peaked.
“Yeah… I’ve been trying to get ahold of her. I didn’t want to just email back and forth.”
“Of course. How did it go?” Alex tucked her hands into her coat pocket.
“About as good as can be expected. I told her I think we should call this what it is.”
“What does that mean, exactly?”
“Over,” Bexley said, sighing. “It’s over with us. She asked me to take some time to think about it and tell her when I got back. I told her I’d thought about it already, but she didn’t take it well.”
“I’m sorry,” Alex offered.
“Me too,” Bexley replied. “So, what areyoudoing out here?”
“I walk a lot,” Alex explained. “Usually, to clear my head.”
“Are you stressed about something?” Bexley asked.
“What? No.”
“Oh, okay.”
“I don’t know. Maybe,” Alex replied.
“Well, I can leave you alone. I just needed fresh air to take the call for some reason.”
“No, you don’t have to leave me alone. I wouldn’t mind the company, actually.”
“Okay. For a few minutes? I have some work I need to do.”
“You were great today, by the way,” Alex said as they started walking in the same direction now.
“Thanks. We’re getting through the initial content, which is good. I’m thinking we have at least two who won’t make it through the program, though.”
“Why do you think that?”
“Just a hunch.” Bexley shrugged.
“Why don’t I believe that?” Alex asked.
“I don’t know.” Bexley laughed.
