"Depends."

Liz's lips curl into a seductive smile as she slips the bead into her hand, her fingers deftly concealing it.

"How about you make the most of me tied up while your boss is kicking ass?"

Liz bites her bottom lip and looks him up and down again. Tebos goes nearer, his brain led by his primal instincts.

"What, here in front of your friend?"

I hold my breath. Don't bring me into this, not now while Liz is doing a perfect prick teasing job.

Liz's voice drops to a sultrier tone.

"Why not? I've always wanted to be pleasured while in a gladiator ring."

Tebos grins as he makes his way towards Liz.

"I knew you were a feisty one," he says, smirking.

"You'd better believe it." Liz's fingers tighten around the bead, her eyes locked onto Tebos's. "Come on then, what are you waiting for?"

Tebos chuckles, clearly amused by the proposition, and walks closer.

"You've got guts, I'll give you that."

With Tebos staring into her eyes, Liz drops the bead onto the ground. I wait with bated breath for the effects to take place. Tebos gets up close, and his eyes start to close.

"What's going on?" he mutters as his legs buckle.

"I don't know," mutters Liz, throwing me a look of delight as her eyes drift off.

As Liz and Tebos slump, falling asleep from the effects of the bead, I shuffle along the balcony towards the exit. The other guards remain absorbed in the fight, leaving me a window of opportunity.

I look down as Fej punches Champ around the face, sending him flying backwards. It's then I realize how I can assist Champ in this unfair war. Finally, the idea comes to me. With a determined resolve, I steal Tebos's keycard and slip away from the balcony and head for help.

Chapter 15

____________

Champ

My body aches, and I struggle to get up from the dusty, unforgiving ground of the gladiator ring. My gaze scans the chaotic scene around me, trying to locate my Stella, but she's disappeared from the balcony.

Panic grips my chest – did that bastard Tebos take her? The thought ignites a fiery rage within me, a primal need to protect her at all costs.

But before I can take another step, I realize that Fej is standing across from me. If I ever want to see Stella again, I can't afford to let my guard down.

Fej's grin widens, and he lunges at me, catching me off guard. His fist connects with my gut, and despite my sturdy abs, the blow winds me. I stumble back, my breath ragged as I struggle to regain footing. Fej's taunting laughter echoes in my ears as he relishes in the upper hand he's gained.

The crowd's roar surrounds me, a mix of bloodthirsty anticipation and gleeful sadism. The Zebos must be reveling in my pain, eager for the spectacle of our battle. Well, that's not going to happen yet.

Fej's triumphant cry pierces the air, declaring his impending victory.

"Behold, fellow Zebos guards! Witness the death of this so-called champion, the final submission of the beast before your one and only leader!"

There's no way I'm taking that shit.

Gritting my teeth, I force myself to my feet. I glance at the balcony, still no sign of Stella. Her absence fuels my fury, driving me forward. Fej's victory won't happen, not if I have anything to say about it.
