Then I notice the other monsters have also transformed into their human form. Fej's death must have lifted the curse.

My gaze shifts to the guards who once imprisoned me, but instead of running at me to chain me up, they applaud. I stand tall, my body radiating a newfound strength and authority.

"Champ, Champ, Champ!" cry the crowd as the guards, once loyal to Fej, now rally behind me, hailing me as their ruler.

The chant reverberates in the air, a testament to our victory and the enduring power of unity. As the chant grows louder, I realize I was sent here to endure this trial. It was never just about survival – it was about embracing my destiny as a leader and a symbol of hope and change.

I step forward, ready to embrace my newfound role. But I'm not alone in this journey. Beside me stands Stella, my unwavering partner, the one who ignited this transformation within me, the one who I have grown to love.

"What now?" she asks, brushing her fingers over my smooth forearm.

"I guess some alone time wouldn't go amiss."

"Certainly not," she says, throwing me one of her flirty glances as we make our way towards the tunnel, this time with a sense of freedom I'll cherish forever.

Chapter 16

____________

Stella

My heart is still pumping as we emerge from the tunnel, the aftermath of the battle still echoing in my mind. It's hard to believe what just happened – how Champ fought like a true warrior, witnessing his strength and will never to give up, and the revelation of our shared past.

He's not just a monstrous gladiator; he's a man with depth, a writer who has a gentle soul. The more I learn about him, the more I find myself drawn to him – his bravery, vulnerability, and sensual ways.

"I still can't believe it's you," I say, facing the slightly bruised and battered man. "I've listened to your writing and marketing courses several times. They helped me so much. What was your real name again?"

"Mark, Mark Samson."

"I'm speechless."

"So am I."

He gazes into my eyes, and I sense his devotion.

"Why do you say that?"

"Because of how you acted, Stella. You saved me and the whole of Planet Amazdom from another onslaught of the mighty Fej." He says the last bit in a voice that, admittedly, sounds like the mighty Fej.

"I'd prefer to think of it as a team effort," I say, my cheeks blushing red.

"Modesty, I like it."

He runs his hands down my back and pulls me close. The bulge between his legs presses on me, creating excitement and lust through my core. I want him to take me, monster or no monster; he'll be mine today, and forever more.

"How did you do it, anyway?" he asks.

"Do what?"

"Escape the guards, you know, Tebos and..."

"Fuck," I cry, grabbing his hands as panic runs through my chest.

"What?"

"I nearly forgot. It was Liz who helped me. She sacrificed herself with the bead and sent Tebos and her to sleep. We'd better hurry up before they wake up and he tries to kill her."

"Holy fuck. Okay, let's go."
