This has the potential to go somewhere, and he also knew it.
"Do you want me?" I asked him.
"Always," he said.
I was taken aback by his answer.
"Since before?" I asked him, trying to clarify what he meant, trying to understand when his feelings for me started and when they went away.
"Sincealways,"he said.
"Where have you been?" I whispered.
"Lost," he said.
I couldn't take it anymore. I knew it was a bad idea. Axe and I had a history. A messy history that needed to be sorted before we even consider being intimate.
Yet, I didn't care. I couldn't stop myself. My brain was screaming at me, and my body was pushing me forward, crossing that tiny bit of space he left between us, giving him exactly what he wanted.
Me.
Coming back.
To him.
He was kissing me back, unlike the way he kissed me in the car. His kiss in the car was tame and reserved, with the slightest bit of an edge.
This kiss.
This kiss.
Was all edge.
His tongue was pushing into my mouth.
His teeth were biting down on my lip.
His hands were moving against my body.
I couldn't stop any of this.
I wouldn't stop any of this.
Ididn't wantto stop any of this.
His hands were in my hair and he pulled me into him. He growled, and I could feel how unhinged he was becoming.
I tried to move my hands to feel him, but he pinned my wrists to the wall, squeezing them to keep them there. I did and he pulled away from my lips long enough to tilt my head to the side. He ran a finger along my exposed collarbone.
"So beautiful," he breathed out. "Such a shame."
His words confused me again. "What? What's a shame?"
His smile was dark and sinful. "That it's only our first date."
I was breathing heavily, trying to catch my breath, trying to get more from him, not wanting any of this to stop. "Why does that matter?"
He doesn't answer my question. Instead, he moved his hand against my chin. My entire body shivered at the feel of his gentle touch after so much roughness. "You want more of this?" he asked me.
