“Delicious.” I mouthed at him, and he sighed, bowing his head in recognition before grinning.

“Good girl,” I whispered to Serena, kissing her temple as she shook her head at me.

“I have tohandit to you, that was well done,” Connor said from my side, winking.

Serena caught my eye and gestured to the kitchen, indicating I should follow. Ah. My little vixen was ready for me already.

“I wanted to talk to you first since I know this is such a big thing for you.” She said softly and I stepped back to look her over.

Her entire body language was stiff, nervous even and I instantly panicked.

“What is itHermosa?” I asked and she sighed, cupping my face as I searched her eyes for the answer.

“Dante. Stop. I’m fine. We are fine.” She said softly and I sighed.

“We are fine.” She emphasized and I frowned at her.

“Of course we are,” I said and she grinned, shaking her head.

“No. That isn’t what I meant. I mean we.” She gestured to her stomach. “Are fine.” She whispered and I froze. Did she mean what I think she meant?

“Serena…” I asked and she nodded.

“Yes. I’m pregnant.” She said and my heart leaped from my chest as the floor seemed to fall from my feet.

“But, you weren’t meant to find out until tomorrow,” I said and she shrugged.

“I may have gone in early yesterday when Elsie and I went shopping. I had already done a test at home, and I wanted to be sure. The blood tests came back early this morning.” She smiled at me, and I kissed her.

There was nothing left to do but to kiss the woman who held my heart, the woman who was carrying my child. Because we all knew it was mine, no one had slept with her as much as I had.

I pulled away to look at her, seeing the emotions clouding her eyes, and dropped to my knees, kissing her stomach tenderly.

“My queen. You have no idea how happy I am.” I whispered and she laughed, pulling me to my feet.

“Stop. I haven’t told the others yet. I wanted to tell you first.” She said and I couldn’t stop the wicked thought that came to mind.

“Oh, Liam will never be able to top this. I will forever hold it over him that I found out first.” Serena looked horrified and slapped my arm.
