“I know, right? The whole evening, everyone was watching us, and he touched me in such intimate ways…”
“Your vajayjay?”
“No, just you know, a hand on my back when we stood, light touches on my neck while we sat. Although, the kiss was actually from a deal we’d made days ago.”
“What? You guys were already talking about kissing each other days ago? Where the heck was my intel, Zoe?”
“It wasn’t supposed to be a romantic goodnight kiss. It was just a joke! I didn’t think it would actually happen. I was only teasing that he’d look good in yellow, you know.” I gestured to my mustard-yellow sundress. “Like me, so he said we should make a deal. If he broke character, he’d wear a yellow tie for a week, and if I did, I’d owe him a kiss. With tongue.”
Jim’s mouth hung open and he fanned himself with a hand, his coffee long forgotten by now. “What a fucking deal. He wants you, Zo. He wants you baaad.”
“He doesn’t. Trust me. But how does that not affect my decision to move in with him?”
“Wait! Bitch, wait. How was the kiss? In detail. You lost on purpose, right?”
“Honestly, I didn’t.” I felt my cheeks burn up instantly, and my smile grow to an immeasurable size. “Where do I even start? The kiss was everything it needed to be. It was gentle but urgent, you know?”
With narrowed eyes, he hugged himself and seemed to imagine the feelings I described. “Yaas.”
“He literally lifted me off my feet. I might have popped my leg, not even sure. I had no mental capacity at that point.”
“I canonlyimagine.” Still using his imagination, Jim pried for more. “Did he rub his cock against you?”
“No. Well, yes. But not likethat.”
“Oh. You mean he didn’t accidentally slip inside? Too bad. When he does it next time likethat, text me.”
“There won’t be a next time.”
“Uh-huh.” He nodded sarcastically, and I quickly moved on.
“And then afterward, he just told me to call him if I wanted to move in.”
“Aaaah.” Jim groaned in frustration. “That’s so perfect. Girl. Told you. Every nut starts with a wish.” He paused. “But why doesn’t it happen to me? Where the fuck is my tall and handsome stranger?” He looked toward the door. “Hellooo? Universe? Where? Bring memychopper.”
Unable to hold back my laugh, I bent over with giggles. Jim joined in and we took a moment to recover from the excitement of the whole ordeal. Eventually, we calmed, wiped our tears away, and sighed in contentment.
“Okay, so, you’re not sure if you should move in because something might happen between you two?”
“Yeah.”
“I mean, I already told you, that’s a freakin’ bonus. Based on that reasoning alone, I’d pack my bags today.”
“It’s more like moving in with him will make this ploy, this lie, even bigger. Even more real. I don’t know if I should really go there.”
“You should.” Jim didn’t even think twice. “I mean what the hell are you even talking about? Girl, this is a chance of a lifetime. This is the jackpot of all jackpots. You don’t turn this one down. When’s a billionaire ever gonna ask you to move in with him again? Never. If I were you, I’d already be packed and sipping champagne in his bed, naked, sucking him off.”
“Jim!”
“What?” Jim asked, dead serious.
“You can’t sip champagne and suck somebody off at the same time.”
“Wanna bet? Look, just stop worrying so much. It’s a no-brainer. It can only turn outgreat.”
“No. Not with how my life is right now. With my luck, it’ll ruin everything.”
He rolled his eyes and lowered his voice. “Look, in all honesty, I get you. But the pros outweigh the cons, honey.”
