Page 5 of Sinful Addiction
Not a moment after we’ve been cleared to take our safety belts off, the two love birds disappear, leaving me with my worst—and best—nightmare.
I’m suddenly left with a whole lot of regrets and an empty glass.
The moment Ava is out of sight, Antonio occupies the seat next to me.
“Fancy seeing you here.”With a final wink, he rests against his chair, hands resting behind his head like before.
“Do you have to be so annoying? You can go back to sitting over there, away from me.”I point.I’m actually going to need stronger alcohol if I’m to make it off this plane sane.
“Fasten your seatbelt, Lacey.”His voice holds an edge to it, yet he looks away from me.
“Why?You’re not,” I scold.
“Because your life is worth more than mine.”
That shocks me.Does this man actually care?
“Don’t go thinking about anything silly.I know exactly why you’re on this trip with Ava, and it’s not for her benefit. If you think another man is going to touch what’smine, you can think again.”
I’m utterly shocked.
“We’re not a couple. You can’t tell me what to do.”I stand my ground, seemingly proud.
“Oh, I can, and you will obey.”He has my full attention now.His body is angled toward mine, our legs brushing. He starts running his hand up my calf toward my knee pit.His fingers continue their travel, brushing my thigh, and a whimpered gasp escapes my parted lips.
He knows he has me right where he intends. My body constantly betrays me with his touch.
Those same teasing fingers skim under the hem of my dress and almost reach my sweet spot when the stewardess appears with more drinks.
“Sorry to interrupt.”The stewardess clears her throat.“I have your drinks as you asked for, sir.”
Antonio keeps his hand where it is while accepting his drink with the other. The fucker even starts flirting with the stewardess right in front of me.
I try to nudge him away with an elbow with no such luck, so I try another tactic.“Hold my drink, I need the bathroom.”I force my glass at him as I stand, spilling its contents with my forceful motion.
I’m silently thankful that little trick worked.I quickly dash toward the back of the plane while he wipes himself down.
Sensing I don’t have much time before he comes after me, I chance a glance over my shoulder.
I’m seconds too late.
In one swift movement I’m pushed through the cabin door as it slams behind me, with Antonio’s palm pressed gently around my neck, guiding me so my back is now pressed against the hard surface of the door we just came through. The echoing click of the lock is the only noise breaking the silence throughout the room.
“What are you really doing here, Antonio? We both know you would have stayed in New York while Xander followed Ava around the country. So why?Why get on the plane?”
Tension fills the room. His eyes aren’t just locked on mine, they’re searing through me.Roaming.Examining me.
I become ultra self-conscious.
I wore a short black cocktail dress ready to go out as soon as we arrived. So, it’s only natural it be tight fitting, showcasing every curve and dip of my body.
Antonio licks his lips, clearly in appreciation.
Despite the dampness between my legs, I stand my ground.
“We aren’t doing this, remember?”
“Oh, I remember. But make no mistake, you are mine, Lacey.Mine.I don’t share withanyone.I’m here to give you a little reminder of that fact.”
