He looked down at Kevin and then toward his wife.

“I guess all of this worked out in the end, didn’t it.”

Selma smiled at him. “Yeah, it did, and there is one other thing I have to tell you.” She pulled away from him and went toward the far table. He watched as she picked something up and then approached him. “I don’t know how to say this, but I’m just going to blurt it out. We’re pregnant.”

Drago put Kevin down on the floor, and he saw out of the corner of his eye as his little doggy went straight to his bed. He was already well-trained. Now, he could hold his wife with both hands.

He cupped her cheeks, closed the small distance between them, and kissed her properly. This time, he put all his need, his possession, his love, and even his obsession into the kiss, loving her, wanting her, and showing her exactly what he’d been wanting for a long time.

She moaned, and he growled against her lips.

“You’re not mad?”

“Hell, no.”

“Sad.”

“Baby, I’ve been wanting you pregnant from the moment we started this, and that hasn’t changed. I still do want you pregnant.”

And with that, he kissed her again and pulled her into his arms. Running his hand down her back, he went toward her ass, but when he had other plans in mind, there was a sudden bark of a little guy demanding attention.

“Cock blocked already,” Drago said.

Selma burst out laughing. “Well, at least it will be good practice for when our little angel comes.”

She put her hand on her stomach, and Drago couldn’t help but reach out and place his hand across her stomach as well.

“Angel or devil, it doesn’t matter, sweetheart, we’ll love you no matter.” He had crouched down to speak to her stomach.

Selma chuckled but Kevin had already run toward the door.

“I think someone needs the toilet,” Selma said.

“I’ll deal with this, but you, get to our bedroom, and that’s where you’re going to stay from now on. Get naked and wait for me.”

Drago didn’t know how he had gotten so freaking lucky.

Epilogue

Five Years Later

Selma checked to make sure everything was in place. She had been planning this surprise birthday party for Drago for over a month.

Five years of marriage and Selma had come to learn a great deal about her husband. Like the fact that until he had met her, he never celebrated his birthday. No one knew the day he was born, so they celebrated the day he was found. Every year, she tried to do something magical for him.

The first year, unbeknownst to her, the day she brought home Kevin and declared her love for him, was in fact his birthday. That day, she kept the date saved. The following year, discovering he’d never had a cake, or blown out candles, she made sure to make him a cake. That had been a little more difficult because she also hadn’t known if he was a fruit, vanilla, or chocolate cake kind of guy.

He’d been a chocolate guy, with extra frosting, and that had to be fudgy as well. Drago had loved the birthday cake, and he had even wiped frosting on her body late that night and licked it right off. It had been a magical night. This had all happened after they put their son, Sean, to bed.

Their firstborn had been a son.

The following year, she had gotten him a frame to put pictures of his family in, and of course, he got to unwrap her.

Drago had bought several sexy sets of lingerie and had insisted on her wearing each one.

The fourth year, she and Drago had taken Sean to a private villa, where they had spent two weeks celebrating his birthday, and that had brought their daughter, Elizabeth, who she now held in her arms.

Drago didn’t like massive parties, but she had invited Eve, Brendon, and a couple of the people from the care home he had gotten close to.
