“The only thing I really need right now is a foot rub.”

I watched him materialize into his human form and sink down on the edge of my bed. He immediately reached for my left foot, kneading and rubbing it so well that I fell back against my pillow and sighed.

“Oh, don’t fall asleep,” he crooned. “I have plans for you.”

The moment his lips curled into a sly grin, I knew he had something wild up his tuxedo sleeve.

I immediately shot him some serious side-eye.

“So help me, Chess...if the guys sent you here to ask me for a fivesome—”

“I’ve discovered a secret library,” he hissed, his eyes gleaming even brighter with mischief.

I shot him a dubious look. “You’re excited about a library?”

He shook his head. “No...asecretlibrary.”

“I still don’t see the allure. Why’s that exciting?”

“It’s exciting because I’ve been visiting this castle for centuries, and never have I ever stumbled upon it...until now. I think it means something.”

I snorted a laugh.

“Yeah, it means you’re a nosy cat who likes to stick his nose where it doesn’t belong.”

Chess’s grin twitched at my remark.

“Maybe Iamnosy...but curiosity can’t kill me. Shall we go explore it?”

“Why the hell not? It’s not like I have anything better to do.” I crawled out of bed and pulled on my Uggs and a warm, soft, cardigan coat.

Then I stopped.

“Why don’t we invite the other guys? I don’t want them to feel left out.”

Chess’s eyes lit up in wicked delight.

“Are you suggesting a fivesome after all?”

I couldn’t help grinning at the hopeful undertones in his voice. My intense training regimen with Jack had initially been too exhausting for me to even think about sexy fun times.

But as my body grew stronger, my training with Jack was starting to feel less like swordplay and more like foreplay. I needed an outlet for all that pent-up sexual frustration.

And if Jack wasn’t going to fuck me, I knew four other guys who’d jump at the chance.

“I’m just saying let’s invite them,” I replied with a flirtatious grin. “If you wanna snoop around and explore that place inside and out, it makes more sense to have all hands on deck. Don’t you think?”

Chess’s eyes sparkled with intrigue and desire as he led me towards the door.

“I think I couldn’t agree more.”

The wicked boys and I were now standing in a dark hallway deep in the basement levels of the castle. A thick wooden door reinforced with iron bars made it clear this place wasn’t meant for the public’s prying eyes.

“How did you discover this place?” asked Ransom.

“I’m a nosy cat who likes to stick his nose where it doesn’t belong,” Chess replied with a sly grin, then winked at me. “Can you think of something else you’d rather be doing?”
