My stomach flutters with possibilities. I could leave Boston and begin a life with these men, but why would they want me? “I… I have nothing. No money or possessions.”

“I have those things,” Yves whispers, leaning in and pressing a kiss to my lips.

My eyelids flutter. Such brazen behavior!

“Yes,” he says, answering my unspoken thoughts. “You can live this way with us. No need to hide what you are and who you desire.”

“How is it possible?”

“It just is,” Eros says, rubbing my back. “Yves has made this life possible. If you stay with us, you can have anything your heart desires.”

“Anything?” I ask.

“Anything,” Alessio says. “It’s the smartest decision you can make.”

Yves slides his hand from my cheek to my neck, gripping it in a dominating way, but it’s not at all threatening or painful. “I only ask for one small thing in return for my gift to you.”

I nod, gazing into his eyes. “What is that?”

“Your soul,” he whispers. “Give me your soul, and I will give you a life you have never even dreamed of.”

“My…my soul? I don’t understand.”

Raphael grips my shoulders from behind, his soft lips brushing against the back of my neck. “We are vampires, dear Nathaniel. Give Yves your mortal soul and he will give you immortality.”

“Vam-vampires?” I want to laugh it off, but something in me understands the truth of his absurd words. The folk stories from my childhood village were true? “They exist?”

“We are here,” Leander says. “Right before your eyes. Join us, Nathaniel.”

A slow smile pulls at my lips. “I’ll be immortal? Invincible?”

Yves smiles as he nods. “Yes. And adored. Your bed will never be cool or empty. We’ll see the world together and indulge our wildest desires. All you have to do is say yes to me.”

“Then what happens?”

“I’ll make you mine,” Yves answers.

“Then we’ll bathe you,” Eros says.

“And help you relax,” Raphael offers.

“Then we’ll deliver you to Yves’s bed,” Midnight says.

“And celebrate with our maker the treasure we’ve found,” Alessio adds.

“I may not be the treasure you think I am.”

“We already know who you are,” Yves says. “Intimately. Perhaps more than you know yourself. You have traveled far from your homeland in Greece. You must be lonely, but I can promise you never will be again.”

My cock tingles in anticipation. He really does know me. “Are you going to drink my blood?”

“I am going to feast on it. By morning, you will be ours and we will be yours. Just say yes, Nathaniel. Join us. Be our companion.”

“I should be afraid of you.”

“But you’re not. You’re more like us than you even realize. Finding us was no accident.” He parts his lips, revealing long, sharp, fang-like teeth, and my breath catches in my throat. “Do you accept, Nathaniel?”

I nod, leaning my weight into Alessio, whose body supports mine.
