Jameson piped in. “No strippers!”
“It’s not like you’ll be there. What do you care?”
“Because she’s my baby sister and she doesn’t need strippers at her bachelorette party. Keep it classy.”
“Jamie-Boy, all I am is classy,” I promised, blowing a kiss. “Besides, your baby sister doesn’t need any strippers. She has Jack to attend to all her needs and –”
“Nope!” he called out loudly, cutting me off as he took the plates and headed to the kitchen.
“He’s going to kick my ass if you keep talking about me with his sister,” Jack jokingly warned.
“Nah! He’s just a soft teddy bear.” Smiling in victory, I grabbed a rag and wiped the table.
