“Yes.”
My name is the only name you will cry out.”
“Luke,” I moaned.
“Good girl.”
He slid out of me and I cried out my frustration. I didn’t have to wonder what he was going to do as he lifted me up and positioned us so that I was straddling him while he sat on the bed. He worked it so that I moved right on top of him. His hands glided my hips down so that I took him, all of him, in one glorious slow magical stroke.
“Luke,” I moaned.
“Yes, my love. Yes.”
My heart stumbled a little at him calling me “his love.” I had thought I was the only one feeling so much when it came to us. Hearing his words only sent me higher and I arched my back and closed my eyes as I rode him.
“Do not look away from me,” Luke demanded and shook me so that my head tilted forward.
“Yes, sir.”
“Good girl,” he said. He brought his right hand between us and gave the lightest pressure on my clit.
“Luke,” I moaned.
“You are mine and only mine.”
“Yes.”
I moved over him faster, and with each thrust his thumb pressed up against my clit. I knew it wasn’t going to take me long before I would go over.
“You are mine. I am yours,” he said.
“Yes.” I held his gaze and I knew at that moment he meant it.
“I love you. You will love me. Marry me.”
The words were such a shock that I wasn’t sure if I had heard them or if there was even a question. I didn’t know what to say so I didn’t answer him. Luke teased my clit and I could feel my orgasm just out of reach. I rocked my body over him but he stopped me, preventing me from going over.
“Marry me,” he said again.
His eyes were so intent, his body so taunt, I wanted to believe that he meant it. As I looked at him. I knew I loved him, that I wanted to be with him. I wanted and needed to be his wife.
I reached up and cupped his face in my hand. “I love you. I will marry you.”
Luke smiled and lifted me up and slammed me back down on top of him. He used his thumb and index finger to twist my clit and I cried out his name as I went over. Less than a second after I did, I heard him moan out my name and follow me over the edge.
Chapter 6
Luke
I didn’t think there was anything more satisfying or enjoyable than waking up next to a naked woman. It was still early when I woke up with Natalie nestled next to me. I dropped my head down and sighed as I inhaled her scent. My body reacted to having her so close and I contemplated waking her up. But we had been up most of the night and I needed to make sure the boat was ready for our trip.
Still, I was reluctant to leave her. I closed my eyes and enjoyed the feeling of having such an adventurous, beautiful, intelligent, and funny woman in my bed. The night, being with her, had been so unexpected, yet welcomed. I hadn’t known what was going to happen but I had never imagined I would find a woman who was so perfect for me as Natalie was.
She was everything I had ever wanted in a woman and never thought I would find. I meant it when I said I loved her. I wanted to marry her. I wanted to share everything with her. We might not have known each other for long but I knew her. She knew me. We got each other in a way that was impossible to deny.
It had been impulsive to tell her the night before; to all but demand that she agree to marry me. But I wanted her. She was going to be mine. The sooner she understood that and accepted it, the better off we would be. I had amassed an empire through hard work, dedication, and going after what I wanted. If I had to use those same tactics to keep Natalie with me, I would.
My desire to succeed, to make my company a success, and my single-mindedness to accomplish that goal had ruined my first marriage. It had hurt my relationship with my son. I wasn’t going to let something or someone who mattered to me slip through my fingers again. I was a billionaire. I never needed to work a day again and I didn’t plan on doing it. I had wondered what I was going to do during my retirement. Last night, meeting Natalie gave me that answer.
