“What the fuck is so funny?” Jesse demanded.

“You,” Xander scoffed. “The woman lived in a cult. I think she can handle a few bikers.”

Jesse shook his head. “That’s different. I’m sure?—"

“Don’t talk about me like I’m not here,” Val interrupted.

Both Jesse and Xander turned to her and got a glare in return.

So much for being shy. He still wasn’t sure he bought her story about being a virgin, either. For the first time in a long time, Jesse questioned his ability to read if he was being played.

“Sage went over everything last night. I’m fine. I can do this,” Val insisted, her cheeks flushed. “Let’s get it over with.”

“If anything goes fubar, you call out the SOS code and we’re there,” Jesse insisted. “You got this.”

Val nodded and licked her lips. Jesse’s eye caught on the movement and his cock began to fill.

Shit. Not her. Not now.

Then Xander sauntered into the room with a cocky smile and those skintight jeans. There was no mistaking that Xander’s ego was as big as that cock of his. And when Xander smiled at Val, Jesse was now picturing them together. Suddenly, in his imagination, he was also in on the action, and holy fuck, he needed to shut that shit down tight.

Don’t think about the word tight. Val being a virgin and all, tight would be right. He cleared his throat, willing his dick to calm.

“We’ll be driving our SUVs, not our sleds, so we don’t attract any unwanted attention,” Jesse added and took out his phone, tapping on it. “There’s an old nickel mine that’s across the road. That’s our best vantage point without coming in too close.”

“Hopefully, Krypt don’t have guys on the lookout there. If this ring is as big as Sam claims, they’re gonna be watching the road and who’s coming and going nearby,” Xander commented as he sidled up next to Jesse. “That’s what we do.”

Val stepped up to his other side and that wasn’t helping his dick one bit.

Fuck, what were they talking about? Oh yeah, the Krypt.

“We’ll drive by. If there’re there, we move on and find the next closest landing spot. If not, we stake out there.”

“How much firepower should we bring?” Xander asked, his hot breath hitting Jesse’s ear.

He suppressed the shiver that ran through him. Until Val leaned closer, her body touching his arm. He could smell the vanilla in her hair and feel the weight of her tits.

“Shotguns, handguns, you name it.”

“Locked and loaded,” Xander chuckled but thankfully stepped away. “Fuck, I love when we do shit like this. Just the thought of it is turning me on.”

“Everything turns you on,” Jesse snapped. “Head in the game.”

“I’m always game for head,” Xander quipped.

Jesse turned to Val, who was flushed.

“There’s still time to pull out—” Jesse stared at her.

“You wouldn’t have to if you’d use condoms,” Xander responded.

“Knock it off, Xan.”

Jesse turned at Sonny’s sudden voice.

“Let’s hit the road. We wanna get their early,” Sonny added. “Scope things out. Dante’s going to drop Sam, Sage, and Val back at his place, we’ll also put a tracker on his car. The rest of you, round up in ten.”

Round up was when they had a club meeting before hitting the road.
