Titus rumbles beside me.
“It’ll be okay,” I wrap my arm around his shoulder, giving him a pat on his shoulder blade.
“I know,” he softly nods.
Silence creeps across the table and I take that as my cue to leave.
“Would say this has been lovely but…” I shrug a shoulder up and stand. “Catch you on the flip side fuckers,” holding my hand up, I walk out of the restaurant and wait for a taxi.
CHAPTER ELEVEN
ARIZONA
Chase Atlantic – Into It plays through the speakers. My body rolls to the beat, across the floor and round the pole. I lose myself in the music, shutting everyone and everything out whilst I work my routine. Hanging upside down, fingers fumble and slip dollars into my baby pink G-string, and you always get one that tries to dip his fingers a little further than needed.
Scissor kicking my legs around, I hook my knees behind the pole before I am on the floor for the saxophone instrumental. Crawling across the floor, I drop to my front, ass up and slowly roll onto my back.
Arching my back from the cool floor, the back of my head tipped back, my knees bent and on the last beat I drop my body down before the lights darken. Heart thumping, I stand quickly and rush out the back and into the changing room.
“Loved that, slow and sensual, seemed a crowd pleaser,” Sasha says as she pops her head round the door frame.
“Thanks,” I smile at her, rummaging through my bag for my second outfit.
“See you on the floor in ten,” she winks and disappears into the evening.
Pulling out a black, lace bodysuit I pop into the changing room and slip my set off.
A couple of the girls are off, Roxy, Luce and new girl Chloe. April and Autumn are on leave.
Of course, there are more girls that work here, but we don’t really talk. I have my little friends here and I am happy with that.
Walking towards the mirror, I glance at myself.
Extensions make my hair long and wavy, in perfect beach waves. My blue eyes glisten as they roam over my body. Lace floral detail stitched into the body, mesh breast cups finished off with lace and just covering my nipples. A run of my caramel skin shows down the center and there is a mesh, denier bottom half leaving little to the imagination. Twisting round, I look over my shoulder at myself. Straps tucked over my back exposing my skin before they clasp onto the thong of the suit.
“Well, look at you.” Spinning, my eyes find Ross leaning against the door frame.
“Ross,” I breathe, pushing my fingers through my hair as I walk towards him in my ridiculous heels.
“You okay?
“Yeah, thanks,” I breathe, stopping in front of him and placing my small hand on my racing heart.
“You?” my eyes bounce between his.
“I am now that I know you’re okay.”
I give him a sweet smile, “Thanks for checking up on me.”
“Always,” he leans in, and I turn my face quickly, his lips pressing to my cheek.
“I better get going,” I whisper, letting my hand fall.
“Want to get that drink soon?” he asks, hopeful.
“Maybe, yeah…” I trail off as I walk down the corridor and to the floor.
Turning the corner I bump into a hard body. Tilting my head up I see Keaton’s boyish grin spreading across his lips.
