As soon as the mysterious werewolf said, “I can smell your arousal from here,” she knew exactly what he wanted for his prize.

And he was right. Misti had no qualms about it.

He stood and walked around the small table to her. His bulge made her lick her lips, but she didn’t stand.

“Our food is coming.”

“They can take it back,” he growled.

“And waste perfectly hot wings?”

“Don’t tease me.”

She winked at him. “I would’ve taken you for a foreplay kinda guy. You prefer to just pump away?”

“Oh, trust me, you’ll find out all about what I like tonight.” But he sat back down.

Just in time. The waitress was approaching with their wings, and Misti found herself not wanting the other woman to notice the werewolf’s desire. He’s mine.

For tonight. One delicious night.

For wanting to leave, he took his time eating, enjoying his food and another beer. The guys she’d been with had always inhaled their food, and she found them to be just as quick in bed. Disappointments. He showed promise. Cockiness and ego—were they earned?

She hoped so.

“How did you know?” she asked. Now that she realized what the guy was, she could distinguish his scent from the thick fog of smoke, food, and body odor. He smelled of the woods and nature and cinnamon.

“Guess my nose is more sensitive than yours is.” He wrinkled it. God, he could make even that simple gesture sensual. “Ah, you must be so wet right now. I wonder if you taste as good as you smell.”

Yes, she was wet just from their banter and the promise of a good time. She couldn’t wait to leave and found herself eating faster than normal.

“Wings aren’t too hot for you?” she asked. They weren’t called five alarm for nothing.

“Nothing is too hot for me.” His black eyes roved over her.

She couldn’t help shuddering. Crossing her legs did nothing to help relieve the frustration growing inside of her. She was positively pulsating with need.

“You don’t know that,” she said, lifting her glass, “until you come across something you can’t handle?”

“Oh, I think I can manage to come up with a way to handle just about anything.” That stare, the way he cocked his head to the side, one eyebrow raised… maybe she had been a little too hasty to write him off right away.

Misti slowly licked her lips then bit her lower one, leaning forward slightly so that her v-neck top would lower and give him more of an eyeful of her breasts. His lids lowered halfway, and he clenched his jaw.

Yeah, two can play this game. You’ve met your match in me.

Slowly, she twirled her straw around in her glass before pursing her lips and picking up the cup to drain the last of her drink. The entire time, she maintained eye contact. He shifted in his seat, and she lowered her glass and tossed her hair over her shoulder. “Got ants in the pants?”

“Oh, I’ll show you what I’ve got in my pants, she-wolf.” He tossed some money onto the table.

Misti reached for her purse to pay for hers.

“Got you covered, babe.”

“You don’t have to.”

“I want to.” But from the way he was eyeing her, he might as well have said I want you.

His voice was deep and sensual, and it washed over her skin in the most delicious of ways. His wolfish grin as he held out her hand had her wanting to grab it and shove it down her pants.
