“What if I want the white picket fence and the two-point-five kids?” Lucy asked when they came up for air. She was trying not to grind on him, but it wasn’t easy.

“That’s not for me.” He eased off and rested his elbow on the wall by her head.

“So what are you offering?” She smacked his hand when he went to undo another button.

“Kisses that last hours and me buried inside you until you come apart around me.”

Lucy swallowed hard. “That sounds pretty good.” Maybe a one-night stand could turn into more than one night?

He surprised her by stepping back and buttoning up her shirt. “It does, doesn’t it? But I’m not what you’re looking for, sunshine.”

What the fuck?Lucy would never understand men. He was right, of course. And Lucy knew she’d been playing with fire, but the fire was just starting to get good. She wasn’t going to chase him, though.

“Let’s go downstairs and join the party,” he said.

For a moment Lucy thought he was going to go in for another kiss, but at the last minute he turned away from her and walked toward the couch.

“You going to wear the towel?” she had asked, then almost strangled on her tongue when he dropped it and slipped on a pair of jeans.

Evan’s butt was epic. Not to mention what was on the other side, which he had to adjust to one side in order to get it into his pants.
