Ced gave a nod in agreement. “Lick our hands, Queen.”

It took me a moment to piece together the exchange I’d just witnessed, but heat rushed to my core upon the realization. Taking Des’s hand, I licked it from palm to fingertips and then did the same with Cedric. I took my time to suck and wet every divot.

Desmond put a knee on the bed and reached forward, taking Cedric into his broad hand. I licked my lips, suddenly panting in anticipation. Cedric did the same, balancing a knee on the side of my bed, and extended, taking Desmond’s length in his palm.

Then they began to move.

They were harder and rougher than I’d ever considered being. I half thought it would have hurt, but they didn’t seem to agree. “Fuck,” Des breathed.

Cedric’s breathing was ragged as they both stared at me. I decided to help matters along and pulled my gown over my chest, exposing my breasts. They groaned in unison, taking me in. “You’re so sexy, Dot, goddamn.”

I took them in hungrily, the heat swirling between my thighs, thriving, voracious and irrevocably in love with these two men. “I’m close,” Des panted, gripping the blanket at my thigh.

Cedric yanked it down, exposing me wearing a very not sexy set of mesh panties. They didn’t seem to think so as Ced grunted and leaned forward. Des in turn breathed a ragged inhale and inclined, resting his tip on my lap. They both came, spilling onto me. The heat and sticky feel of it had me clenching in all the right places, wishing six weeks had passed already so I could have them both again. But this was more than enough for now: their show of vulnerability and love.

They stalled, evening their breaths. One by one, they alternated kissing me passionately and buckling their jeans. Cedric prepared two wet washcloths and they each cleaned me off, ever so gently, before easing my gown down and covering me with fresh, warm blankets. My men. My husbands.

I was thankful that what was a very erotic show for me, didn’t produce any awkwardness between my guys. We’d been together, all three, many times, but I’d never watched them sexually interact without me. They didn’t seem to mind. Then again, Ced and Des were such close friends; they shared a wife for goodness sake, so maybe it wasn’t too weird for them. “Can I give it to her?” Des asked in Cedric’s direction. He smiled and nodded. “We made you something.”

“I’m not sure what you could give me that could top that.” I winked. Des smirked and pulled a small box out of his pocket.

Cedric explained. “You took your rings off during pregnancy because they didn’t fit. So Des and I took the chance to steal them when you wouldn’t notice. We…altered them.”

My mouth dropped. “What?”

Des grinned, opening the box. “We hope you like it.”

I took the box and removed the dainty gold ring. It was my flower shaped ring, but to the side of the flower was Des’s tear drop, light blue sapphire stone merged with my ring from Ced. Both of them together, on the same band. “Oh my gosh…” I breathed. “It’s both of you. It’s so perfect.” I slid it on my ring finger. Ced and Des exchanged proud looks that melted my heart even further. Could you die from happiness?

Just then, a knock sounded on the thick door. Wheels rolled in, carrying a clear bassinet and a wrapped and swaddled little being inside. Caroline beamed as she pushed closer to me, whispering, “Your mom told us you were awake. Your doctor is thrilled and says your blood count looks great. Do you want to meet our baby?”

Emotion pricked my eyes as Ced and Des glowed from their perches on either side of me.

“Give me our daughter,” I whispered brightly. Everyone exchanged looks as Caroline tenderly placed the little blanket heap into my arms.

She was…perfect. More beautiful than any orca calf, or seahorse family, or shoreline at sunset. Her deep red hair curled delicately over her ears.

“How did you know it was a girl?” Des asked.

I couldn’t possibly pull my stare away from her when I replied, “Probably the same way Cedric says he met me before he actually met me.”

“I told you that story while you were sleeping. I didn’t think you heard me,” Cedric whispered.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the smiles grow on my husbands’ faces. We looked down at her with awe and immeasurable love. Any hesitation I’d felt during pregnancy was already a far-distant memory.

Caroline seated herself in the rocking chair. “Does she have a name yet?”

“Not yet, I think I need to get to know her first,” I admitted. It was unconventional, but what else was new? Everything we did was different than everyone else. Why not wait to name the baby too?

“Take all the time you need,” Cedric whispered, playing with my braid. “We have forever.”

I’d just stepped a wet foot out of the shower and shrugged on my robe when my sister burst into the steamy bathroom. “Thanks for knocking,” I said sarcastically.

She grabbed my wrist. “Oh, you’ll live. Hurry, you need to see something.”
