I can’t stop smiling or looking at him with love in my eyes because I genuinely am so in love with this boy that I know my heart is in so much trouble.

“You look so pretty, mommy,” Junior says, thrusting his face into the phone as Brandon holds it.
“Thank you baby. Did you do all your homework today?” I ask.
“No. I wanted to see you. I miss you,” Junior says with a guilty smile.
I can’t help but smile at him. “I know baby, I miss you too. So much. Brandon has been telling me that you’ve been such a good boy. I’m so proud of you, baby.” I say, making Junior’s cheeks turn red.
God I love it when he is shy. He looks so cute, especially when he hides his face into Brandon's chest while blushing.
Tonight I’m going to dinner with the group, Alex, Carter, Nicole’s parents, and Nicole’s friends. It will definitely be interesting since I’ve never been with Hayden and Nicole in the same room and I’ll be meeting Nicole’s parents as well.
I’m nervous as hell but Natalia said I shouldn’t be.
I’m wearing a long black, silky dress with a slit in the right thigh. It’s not too revealing but it’s also not too modest which I think makes this dress perfect. I’ve had this dress sitting in my closet for a while but never got the chance to use it. My hair is straightened and I did my makeup too.
“Well, I have to go Junior and you need to do your homework. But I love you so much and I miss you a million.”
“I love you too.” Junior smiles widely.
We end the call after I say bye to Brandon.
I grab my bag and leave the hotel. The restaurant is not too far so I decided to walk.
Natalia asked if I wanted to go with her and the boys but I had to FaceTime Junior, so I told them I’d just meet them there.
The walk isn’t long to the restaurant. About ten minutes.
A gentleman opens the door for me and welcomes me in. I walk up to the hostess stand and she smiles at me and asks me what I need.
“I’m Jaclyn. I’m here for a reservation for Nicole Earnings.”
The host nods her head and grabs a menu. She tells me to follow her which I do. She brings me to the table and Natalia stands when she sees me but Nicole is the one who walks up to me with a smile on her face.
Oh my God, does she know I kissed her future husband?
“Jaclyn! So happy you made it!” Nicole says before wrapping her arms around me and hugging me.
I tense as she hugs me but I hug her back and force a smile on my face. “Sorry I’m late. I decided to walk,” I say before looking behind her.
My eyes immediately go to Hayden who is staring at me. He doesn’t look that happy.
We haven’t talked since the day we went to the mall for Alex. It’s been two days since then and I’ve mostly just been hanging out with Natalia and the boys. I don’t know where Hayden has been and when I asked Kayden, he said that Hayden was in Lombardy with his brother.
Nicole pulls me towards an older man and woman, making me look away from Hayden. “These are my parents, Jonah and Maria.” Jonah and Maria stand up and shake my hand but I notice the fake smiles appearing on their faces. “This is Jaclyn.”
