“Just a bit of business.” Andi replied.

“You seem to know a lot of white wolves.” Jag spoke to her now.

“No mystery. I was raised here and went to school with many of them.”

“Ariel?”

“Everyone knows Ariel that lives here long. Even you do.”

“I just wondered.” He grabbed the food she got him and left.

“He’s looking for something.” Andi said.

“Yup. Hope he doesn’t find it.”

They talked a while then Andi noticed the time. “My mate will come looking for me. He’s taking care of the little one.”

“That bad?”

“Like when we were kids.”

”Yeah, I’m surprised he’s not here already.”

“You find any more stuff, give me first shot at it.” Andi requested.

“I have two more sheds. Grandpa never let a thing go.”

“I’ll come when you call. I love the stuff you showed me. Don’t forget to let the other girls look at what’s left. They’ll kill me when they see what I got.”

“I’ll give them a call.” Missy promised. She hated to let things go too, but she needed the money and the room.

Andi rushed out and hurried down the road. She’d call Beth and Mairi soon. Jag worried her. She needed to talk to Ariel and share her concerns. How had Ariel missed the suspicious way he acted? Or had he acted differently around her? That’s what she needed to know.
